What is the best solder to use?

Lead free solder should be used, especially if teaching young kids. Lead poisoning is a real concern.

Would this solder be a good one? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/b00068ijou/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02__o00_s00?ie=utf8&psc=1

Yes! That will work well. Kester is a great brand for solder!
