They may chafe.
These boots are about what you would expect for the price. The quality is decent and they are light weight for the price. The fit seems to be accurate, but all feet are shaped different. In my case, the laces don't seem to snug up enough around the top of the ankle comfortably, but this is my case and not new to me.Because the top of the ankle isn't snug, the inside strap on the inside of the ankle seems to rub, which over the course of a few hours starts to chafe. The boots seems very sturdy and the sole is tuff. They ventilate OK as most meshed boots do. Traction is fine. It is a basic boot that works well.

Lightweight and comfortable
Pros: Lightweight, comfortable Fits as expected Width is good. For reference, I normally wear wide width shoes. Laces are a good length Comfortable for daily wearing Cons: Not great for wearing in winter. My feet get cold quicker than I would like for boots like this. These are pretty lightweight for winter usage.

Passable, but not the best
These work for my purpose of having some "tactical" boots that work for the occasional cosplay component or boots that work for other costume work, but the build quality is about what you'd expect for the $50 price point. No obvious defects, but the quality of the material isn't the highest. The boots are a little larger than expected, but with an extra pair of socks and/or some tight lacing the overall fit was pretty good with some good ankle support. That said its almost like there's no insole to it. Very little padding and arch support. Certainly not a pair of boots I'd want to wear on a regular basis, however thats not a major problem for me since my primary use for these is occasional cosplay and costuming where we're talking a day of wear, and from wearing these for a few hours a day for a couple of days, these will work well enough, however if I know its going to be a long day event and I'm spending a lot of time on my feet, I could see getting a better insole.Overall for $50 these aren't a bad option for cosplay/costume use, but if I was looking for boots for regular use these wouldn't be my pick.

Won't last long, but they do the trick.
You are getting what you pay for with these tac boots. They are described as "leather and nylon) for material, but neither of those are decent quality. The nylon is very thin and feel almost paper like, while the leather does not feel authentic at all, but I'm giving the company the benefit of the doubt. That aside, these boots provide very good support and fit pretty well. I wear a wide 10 in most tac boots and these provide a little more room than what I'm used to (with two pair of socks, these will be perfect). Not a deal killer, though. I wore these all day yesterday, including an hour walking through Sam's Club, and found the comfort and support to be better than other boots in the same price range. I wouldn't test these in the woods or jungle, as I don't feel they would hold up to the rigors of those environments. These are more suited for mild outdoor activity and short-term tactical use. I do no recommend this for LE work due to the weakness of the material, but if you're looking for something as a place holder until that pair of Danner's you've been eyeballing go on on sale, these will do the trick.
