Aleia's Gluten-Free Savory Stuffing - 1 Pack 10oz

This was a great GF stuffing. I will admit that it was a bit more expensive than I would ordinarily want to spend for stuffing, but I loved being able to serve a 100% gluten free Christmas Dinner with a stuffing option still available. It tasted great. I had to triple check the box to make sure it was gf because it was super yummy. I didn’t add the carrots or celery as directly. I only added the onion and it was still super yummy.

This stuffing overall was just OK in my opinion. Now, I did use water to make the stuffing, and not chicken or vegetable broth as the directions say, so maybe this had an impact with myself on its overall flavor. I thought the spices in the stuffing mix packet were a bit strong, and it did not seem like I was eating authentic stuffing for Thanksgiving. Would I buy this product again? Honestly, I'm not sure. Other reviewers like this stuffing very much, but I think it is just OK.

It smelled and looked like my regular stuffing, but actually tasted better. I made it for my pregnant daughter who has high sensitivity to gluten which may have contributed to several previous miscarriages. So it was important that she had food to enjoy for Christmas dinner that also was a healthy choice for her. We all thought it was very good and well seasoned.

My 1 gf family member likes this. The flavour is good though I add extra poultry seasoning. I'm not crazy about the texture, glad I don't have to eat it.

I can't praise this stuff enough, even the non gluten free people in my life love it and request it. I was so disappointed with other brands that I nearly gave up on stuffing, but this is a miracle. Every bite is bliss, and it even crisps up a bit! I add sausage to make it a full meal, it does not disappoint.

The item description says 24 servings.The nutrient guide says 24 1/2oz servingsThe recipe on the bag says SERVES SIX.COME ON NOW. That's insanely unrealistic to say on the page here and on the back that is serves 24. Who eats 1/2 oz of stuffing??Notice they even put the instructions on the amazon page but omitted the serves SIX line.So if you have a decent crowd, get 2-3 boxes.

We had this stuffing for Thanksgiving this year and thought it was delicious. It served our family of four gluten free eaters with plenty of leftovers. We added apples, carrots and onions to add some sweetness and it was great. I don't know about the 24, that's obviously not correct but with all the other side dishes we have on special occasions, this was plenty. The taste was great and the price was fine for me not having to make one more thing from scratch. Buying more for Christmas.

I bought this because we had a gluten-free guest for Thanksgiving dinner. We loved it! I prepared exactly as directed except added a little turmeric, as I put it in almost everything savory. My husband liked this so much he said we should get it every year, even though neither of us has a need to avoid gluten.
