DrinkTanks Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Cup and Lid, 16oz

I've been a big DrinkTanks supporter since they started and I bought a growler from them. I ended up buying another 3 (1 more for me, 2 as gifts).When they started producing these cups I was thrilled. I've never been a big fan of the ultra-popular Yeti tumbler because its so bulky. It holds like a torpedo and just looks oversized. There are issues with cupholders, too. Most cars are ok, but some aren't. And the big one for me is camp-chairs, which usually have a pretty small cup-holder insert.I bought this and have since purchased another 4 or 5, in various sizes. They are sleek, durable, insulate just as good as as Yeti, and sized like a normal cup. I use these things all the time and have recommended them to many friends over the more popular Yetis.

It is a nice looking cup, but there is one thing about it I don't like. If you take a sip of coffee from it, it makes a loud whistling sound from the small hole in the lid. If you hold your breath and don't breath when drinking from it, then there is no noise. If you use it without the lid, it is a nice cup for either coffee or a cold beverage. Just didn't like it with the lid on. I also discovered all the cups are not dishwasher safe. I washed two cups recently. Both were on the top shelf of the dishwasher. One came out OK, but the other one (Gunmetal color) was damaged. Attached is a photo.

This cup keeps my coffee nice and hot for as long as it takes me to drink it. I like the size because it fits in my car’s cup holder. I got one several years ago as use it everyday. It recently took a header off my desk at work and the top cracked when it hit the tiled floor, which is why I bought this one. Every so often I put some Effordent denture cleaner in it and let it sit for awhile. The inside looks brand new and the outside has only minor wear on the bottom edge. If it hadn’t taken a header to the floor, I’d still be using it.

We have a few of them, our go-to mug. Coffee stays hot from breakfast well into the workday morning. Once we get home we pop em in the dishwasher and they're good to go the next day. It's exactly what we've been looking for.

It’s a cup that you put [drink] in and it stays [cold/hot]. It does a way better job at that than most cups. It also seems to be built like a tank, and it will probably out-live you. You may never need to buy another cup. Seriously, buy it.

I absolutely love this mug. I upgraded my 10oz mug. This is only mug I’ve found that will actually keep my coffee/tea warm for 2-3hrs. I’ve had Dutch brothers coffee type cups meant to keep your drinks warm that are junk in comparison. this cup actually works as advertised vs. other brands.

Love these mugs. I stumbled on to them in a buyout clearance store. Never heard of Drink Tanks. Now I have a collection of them and I don't collect stuff at all. In fact I am a minimalist, but hooked on Drink Tanks.The only thing I don't like is they have discontinued some color options that were once available. Wish I could find some of those previously available color options.

Keeps coffee hot!

Great product, sold and seal works well. No leaks.The only downside is that my coffee is sometimes still too hot by the time I get to work!
