Well, what can i say, the picture says it all. I brought two sets of these. The tines bent on the fork and the trowel snapped on use. Its been raining here for the past four days. Not a good advert, complete waste of money. Cant be bothered to send them back as it will cost me money. Do not buy, look for better ones.

Please don’t waste your money on this set. I honestly believed that Draper was a trustworthy name. Well they are not now.The trowel bent on its first outing to the herb garden and eventually snapped where the head met the tang.The forks tines are bending completely.Unless you have a garden made up of very fine soil that doesn’t offer any resistance please leave this set alone.

They do a job and the trowel is fine, however the fork is quite weak and bends easily.As you can see from the photo, what you get sent is not quite what is advertised but it doesn't really matter as I'm using them for gardening. If you want something as a gift or to look nice as a set dont get these.

It's easy to hold. That's about the only good thing. I was digging in my flowerbed and came across a small root. The trowel split at the weld and is now useless. The fork has survived a bit better, but coming across a dahlia bulb caused that to bend, but not as catastrophically. I wouldn't bother unless you know you don't have roots or bulbs in your garden....

I do like this fork and trowel and they look as though they will last a long time. One small thing, the wrist straps would only fit over a small child's hand.

Delivered by the Royal Mail, no notification of the safe place the parcel was left in, but an email from Anazon asking me to review my purchase led me to look for the safe place. My neighbours calor gas storage bin maybe safe, but not the first place I would think to look!Top marks for product, zero marks to the Royal Mail on this occassion!

The items were delivered promptly and are of very good quality. They were a gift for my son and he was pleased with them. I only rated 4 stars because on arrival the box containing the items was crushed and torn, not ideal to present as a gift. It was strange as the outer delivery carton was robust and intact.

Good solid tools, as you would expect, and the ash handles are attractive. However as it is called a Fork and Trowel "SET", I assumed it would come in a box, but it is just the two separate tools. Makes it less suitable as a gift.
