When it works…
The technology is intriguing, but hiding the charging power light on the bottom and making the on/off switch flush with the surface, with no tactile response and hard to find, significantly diminishes the fun. It’s a challenge to get it working.

save your money
it only spins one ball if you add 2 or more it throws it out and stops working

Awesome kinda loud tho
Not sure if this is perpetual motion being that it has to be charged and uses power. Not the q Quietest to be a desk top toy. Kinetic energy devices like the pendulum is a quite devices that does cause a distraction. This does perform very well. It does what it’s suppose to do although that placement of the charger is weird. It’s on the bottom so you have to lay it on it side to charge the device. It’s a neat gift idea. Does have entertainment value to it. I just don’t like how loud it is. And the on off switch isn’t easy to use

fun idea but...
The device referred to as the "perpetual movement" toy is indeed a source of entertainment, but it cannot be considered a true perpetual movement device because it requires charging. Moreover, I've observed that not all the marbles perform in the same manner: some roll smoothly while others tend to fly (possibly due to their lower mass). Additionally, a drawback lies in the poorly designed power button, which lacks an indicator to clearly show whether it is switched on or off. In order to determine its status, you must place a marble and wait to see if it continues moving. The manual mentions a blue light indicator, but surprisingly, it is placed at the bottom where it is difficult to see, unless you flip the device while attempting to press a flat button that is barely visible.Despite these flaws, it's worth noting that children truly enjoy playing with it.

Fun, but a bit inconsistent.
Interesting toy, although the appeal doesn’t last that long since it doesn’t function constantly. It comes with 10 marbles, five gold and five silver. I imagined using multiple marbles simultaneously, but it doesn’t really work well doing that. When it is running, three things can happen:1. Marble runs as it is supposed to2. Marble is spit out the top too quickly and gets thrown out of toy3. Marble doesn’t get quite the kick it needs to get back to the top. It rolls to a stop at the bottom of toy and prevents any other marbles from continuing.Obviously two of those stop the fun immediately, and sadly they both are quite common. If you can get several marbles going, it’s pretty cool, but I never got even three going for a full minute. Something always goes wrong. With only a single marble, it gets dull quickly. I’m sure that’s why they included 10 — it would be fun to see the different colors zooming along one after another, but as I said, it just doesn’t keep working that long.Maybe mine is just temperamental, but I really wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who was very serious in his science. I would stick with it as a child’s toy and let it be merely a curiousity.

Bit glitchy
This is a nice little motion toy but it is a bit glitchy. If you put more than one ball in, it completely stops working. Also, if it gets bumped even a bit, it will fall off cycle.
