This rope is the correct quality required to repair my stove doors ready for winter use. It comes with 4 pieces of sealing tape for the ends to stop them from fraying. The only difficulty was that it was very hard to peel off the backing from the tape so I found if you cut down it a bit you can find an edge to start to peel off the backing. Rope is easy to cut and apply the tape. You need to buy glue separately.

This is a nice quality rope which came at a good price. There was no real instructions with this so if you are struggling to use this rope kit. You can check out some videos online.The silicon tape is used when cutting the rope. You wrap it around where you want the cut to be and cut with the tape on. Failure to do that, will result in a super frayed rope at the ends.I tried to test out how much heat this rope could take, i got it around 600c and it was fine. So thats good. I used a regular silicon to adhere to my fire, you can buy some legit compound to fix this to your fire but a regular silicon is absolutely fine. Good product at good value.

Zu lang, aber leider passt das Heizungsseil nicht 2mal um das Heizungsloch! Dann könnte man dabei sparen.

When I opened the package it was just a cloud of glasfiber dust coming out. And when I tried to fasten the rope it just keep coming off with this small patches of tape.I had to go out and buy one that came with special ceramic glue.
