Great light. Maybe a little overkill for my setup. This thing at 100% is crazy. It fits perfectly in a 4x4. I plan on buying another one since I’ve upgraded to a 5x10 tent. Works great with the E42 controller. Really just love this light.

They just raised the price by 100$Might as well by a better brand since they cost just as much now.

TL;DR - Seems decent for a fair price. Can't speak to effectiveness in flower stage. Few details provided on build components (e.g., diodes). One of mine came dented and scratched.Good size bar light at a competitive price for a 4'x4' tent (I got 2 lights for my 4'x8') - thought I can't find many product (e.g., diode) specifications on either Amazon or the Vivosun website. I just got back into growing after a 10 year break (now that it's legal in Ohio) and decided to go with Vivosun over AC Infinity (and others) for my grow hub - so it seemed only natural to get Vivosun lights to avoid any potential complications.Setup is incredibly fast and easy, and the light is light enough to install solo - but it's got a big footprint so it may be tricky without help or if you have short arms. The ropes may just be long enough to just lay the light on the ground where you want it, attach the ropes, and then hoist it up. I had to install my light where plants were already in a SOG net... so I couldn't move them to install the light. Definitely recommend 2 people for that (or a similar) scenario.They are bright... I think the brightest my lux meter could get was around 75,000... which isn't as bright as my MH or HPS bulbs (400 watt and/or 600 watt) pushing 100,000+ (on the 400 watt)... but their light footprint is much more ideal for a full tent. The plants seem to like them... but I just transitioned to flower 2 days ago so I can't speak to the red spectrum.2 reasons for only 3 stars out of 5... (1) one of my lights came with a decent sized dent and scratch... which doesn't affect the functionality, but stinks for $400... and (2) I can't find diode (or other) product specifications on either Amazon OR Vivosun's website. Is this light really good, and they just don't want Samsung (or someone) to know they are using their diodes? Or is it cheap and overpriced - hence the vagueness? Only time will tell.Also added a photo of the Vivosun tent zipper as an FYI. I have 4x8, 4x4, and 4x4 Vivosun tents... and the zipper on all 3 gets stuck and/or grabs on to the light-proofing fabric *constantly*. I'm talking 75% of the time I close the tent. I'm an avid camper and sew my own gear... so if I come up with a fix I'll report back. This may be the case for all tent brands... but seems to be consistent with Vivosun.

I’ve been searching for a good bar style light for a while now. I figure I may as well give this one a try since I already everything else from vivosun. It’s bright and has the uv I was looking for. And I got it with a $50 coupon. I’m satisfied with my purchase.. it’s perfect for a 4x4

Ok. I don’t use a standard indoor tent setup. I grow semi-outdoors, meaning outdoors in a homemade 15x5 enclosure. I’m currently running 4 plants under the light and they have exploded! I upgraded from a competitors 300W light to this 650W and the quality alone is superb.

Product was damaged during shipping. The manufacturer was no help. Amazon had no control over the replacement of the product so I was out the prime prices lost over 200 dollars in deals. They wonted me to return and repurchase the product at retail price. Kinda sounds like price gouging to me. Recommend going with a different manufacturer due to returns and warranty issues and manufacturer will not back there product.I went with mars they have a top notch customer service.
