The smell of these cinnamon sticks are phenomenal. I can smell them outside of the box even when they were sealed. It’s a good price for the amount and the quality of cinnamon sticks. The freshness is maintained through the weeks I had them. These cinnamon sticks are perfect for making tea. It releases a rich and warm flavor without being watered down. Even after the use, the cinnamon sticks still remain fragrant and fresh.

I needed larger length cinnamon sticks for my macrame and craft projects for the holidays but I needed them to have long lasting strong aroma too. I purchased other brands and types but wasn't having any luck. After having searched and read through millions of reviews I went with the McCormick cinnamon sticks because it's a well known brand and I liked the storage container and the length even though the reviews were mixed. They arrived pretty quickly through Amazon prime shipping though I would've preferred to have them a day sooner. As far as length goes they are just right for my intentions and needs at this time but the strong cinnamon aroma I was looking for just wasn't there. It wasn't extremely weak but it wasn't strong either and the scent seems to completely disappear as though it never existed within a few hours of being out of the container. Now for food purposes these are great and I highly recommend if you simmer them on the stove for scenti throughout your home and for many recipes but if you are searching for the same aroma for craft projects as I am these won't give it to you. Length is fine. I ended up buying a bottle of cinnamon candle oil to rub on them and soak in to extend the aroma but I can't do that for all my project types. For craft purposes I'd give it a 2 star for scent and a 5 for length, for food purposes I'd give it a 5.
