Great boot, would recommend to all.
These boots are amazing. As a soldier for the last 9 years these are definitely the grippiest boot I've worn (beating J Boots, Magnums, Meindls and Lowas.I tried to break these boots in with a 15km, 35kg pack march two days after receiving them. They haven't lost grip going up and down steep hills or on mud. I've only list grip once as I was actively trying to lose grip. They're very comfortable and fit as expected, no hot spots. They forced me to use my calves and ankles more but I found that they support my calves more than my last boot.I would recommend these boots to anyone and would definitely buy another pair in the future.I'll try update this review in a month and check on their durability.

Great boot, but buy half-inch up
To start off, the boots are fantastic quality and build. I bought these to replace my aged Bates Hot Weather Mountain Boots that had been an RFI issue for an Afghanistan deployment and had undergone years of abuse. I normally bounce between an 8.5 or 9 boot size and decided to go with the 8.5. It was a gamble because I live at an APO overseas address and mail can take 2-3 weeks to arrive from Amazon, so a product return is something I hate doing. The Garmont 8.5 size is on the small end of the 8.5 scale when compared to my Bates deployment issued boots as seen in the photo, both depicted are a size 8.5. I’m still able to fit in the Garmont’s, but it’s snug and will be ordering a size 9 the next time I buy a set.

Pressure points at tongue but otherwise satisfied.
There’s a ton of reviews on these already so I’ll just say overall I like the boot, however my biggest CON to these is the tongue design. This has been mentioned by other reviewers and I will echo their sentiment. The tongue design and the way it is sewn-in puts unnecessary pressure on the sides of your ankle at the front of the boot. If you tie them just right you can mostly mitigate it but it will still be noticeable at times. The only way I’ve managed to tighten the boot without causing friction points is leaving the lace at the ankle relatively relaxed and then tightening the verticals section as much as I want to feel snug.Otherwise they look sleek and perform as expected. But I may try something else out next go round as my foot isn’t 100% compatible with that tongue design, which is a bummer. Every boot I try has its own issue and they are usually all different problems I just wish I could find a boot that has none of them lol.

Durable, comfortable and affordable boots.
Overall the best boot I’ve worn during my military career. Unbelievably durable and offer a great balance of comfort and support. Deployed or in garrison these boots have served me well. Only negative is if they get wet they’ll take awhile to dry out but it’s obviously not a big deal. Elite Survival had these shipped extraordinarily fast. Barely waited two days to receive them with free standard shipping. Lastly, the price beats ANYTHING I’ve seen in shops around post or other online stores. I highly recommend them. Photo is the new pair on the left and old pair from late 2014 on the right.

The best ones I have ever had!
Great boots! I was looking for some good boots that can withstand the elements and yet have the comfort I need. Some reviews say they run a little narrow, however they run normal. I have normal size 12 feet, not wide feet. So if they fit to snug then you have Fred Flintstone feet.Extremely comfortable, probably the most comfortable I have ever had.Very resilient to harsh conditions!I just bought these boots and ended up in a knee deep MUD situation. I followed the manufacture cleaning instructions ( hand wash with water only, let air dry) and sure enough, you would never know they were mud soaked.I will only buy this brand from now on!!!Here is a picture of them muddy and after I cleaned them.

Best boots I have owned.
Best boot I have ever owned! In spending 23 years in the military on my feet! This is the best pair of boots in durability and confort from rucking to deployments this is one of the few that has held its own and the only one to never make my feet hurt. No blisters no pain.

Not great out of the box for wet conditions, but good boots otherwise!
These boots were comfortable right out of the box. They are well made, have good traction, and are very breathable. They were supportive enough for me to hike over rocky alpine terrain with a 25 pound pack without any issue. My feet did get a little more wet than I initially anticipated when I walked a few miles through some very tall vegetation that was heavily covered in morning dew. However, treating the shoes with some waterproofer seems to have mitigated a lot of that issue. Overall, I'm happy with these shoes and would recommend them.

Top quality tactical boots!
The Garmont T8 Bifida Tactical Military Boots in Coyote Brown is very well made in every way. I could tell that there was a lot of attention to detail applied on these boots. Everything about it is top quality. The only reason I returned it is because I still found their size US12 Wide slightly a bit tight on my feet. The boots are True to Size. How I wish Garmont made an Extra Wide version for this one. Also, the seller sent the item on time as well as returned my payment on time.Overall I'm giving this one: 5 stars!
