Buddy Tools Mix It, 18" Length Mud Mixer

This is a great little mixer and the ABS on the paddle makes it very easy to clean. I've found it terrific to use.

Yep worked well mixing silicone roof cover. Fit my standard Milwaukee drill. I expect it will come in handy for painting in the future. Strong metal.

Perfect for mixing for extra smooth finish even though I buy premixed already.

I find this works decent with a normal cordless drill, but a lower geared mixing drill would work better and be less likely to make whipped cream out of whatever you're mixing if you accidentally pull the trigger back too far. I think the price is a bit high for the construction. The bit shank has some pitting on it from the factory and it's a very simplistic head shape, not any complicated helical bit or anything. It seems to clean a bit easier than metal ones, so there's that.

I always thought these would be kind of a joke but after my regular mixer keeps digging into the new softer plastic black USG buckets- I gave these a try. I also use them if I am mixing up less than a full bucket or mixing mud in a smaller bucket. I don’t use them everyday but I do drywall finishing part time for work. They don’t dig into plastic buckets and seem to be holding up so far anyway.

Love this little mixer! Used it for my bucket of ready mix and great to mix a 5 gallon of paint!

Does not work with normal Household power drill. Had to use a 3/8" hex driver to connect to my drill.

This was exactly what I needed to properly mix the drywall mud I had in a bucket. It worked perfectly with a Dewalt drill, it never scratched the sides of the bucket or got stuck and it was easy to cleanup. I highly recommend this if you don’t want to manually mix your mud.

used to stir heavy bodied oil based primer using a 12v cordless drill. Very successful and paint was well mixed with no splatter. Cleaned up with solvent well.

I have over the decades used cheap mixers from places like Princess Auto and that was always good enough. Until I did a self levelling floor job in my own home. Its super important to not aerate the mixture and get bubbles through the pail when mixing. A couple reviews and a video on you tube convinced me to spend the 35 bucks on a good tool that I could use on other things such as paint and so on. I have to say, it's worth the money. Keep the speed very slow and use a good drill or mixing motor with this paddle and you will not be dissapointed. Very good design and extremely good quality materials used to make it. This is the last one I will ever need to buy.
