Addicted to this roving wool!
I’m obsessed with this yarn, and as pricey it is I just can’t stop buying it! It’s incredibly soft, but keep in mind that as roving wool is not plied, it can come apart easily. I do recommend felting it as this is a great way to prevent this from happening. I ordered the light grey, and the shade is simply lovely. With the help of a few YouTube tutorials, I learned how to arm knit with this yarn easily and made the blanket featured with 4.4 pounds. The yarn can also be used on jumbo-sized needles as well - size 50, 70, and 150 are all ideal. The 24 x 24 pillow cushion featured was made with the same light grey yarn using size 50 needles and 5 pounds of yarn.Overall, a fantastic product - I recommend buying in bulk because it’s really rather pricey otherwise.

Worked beautifully for my project
Used this to create a wall hanging. Turned out so beautiful. It is soft was easy to separate as needed and over all easy to work with. May try to use to create an arm knit blanket. Just a bit pricey so need to think about it. I will say it is quality so may be worth it.

Great stuff! Completed my project with it and love it
Great yarn for making a chunky blanket. I got the apricot color. Was nervous because the color looked yellow. But it ended up being the perfect beige color I wanted. It did tear once when pulling too hard, but if you unravel it slowly it won’t break. Overall very happy with my purchase and would buy again.

Pretty good for what it is!
This yarn is pricey but does the job. This was my first time using it so don’t really have much to compare it to. It will fall apart if you pull too hard so it’s best to unroll a bit before adding into your project. I would buy again as it’s soft and works well.

I don’t believe there’s actually 70% of “wool” in this “blend”
If you’re buying this for arm knitting then I guess it’ll do, but my purpose was for needle felting and this stuff DOES NOT FELT. They claim it is a “70%/30%” blend but I don’t believe there is any wool here. I’ve attempted to felt with acrylic yarn that I’ve distressed and puffed out and that worked better than whatever this is. They also claim that the synthetic part has to do with the dye job....well the “fiber” I received looks nothing like the photo, it is streaky and there’s barely any green, there are also streaks of white going down. This is by far the worst fiber I’ve ever attempted to felt with.Like I said, I guess it could work for a blanket/arm knitting...but I wouldn’t trust whatever this fiber is and I’ve been around/worked with various fibers my entire life. I would not use this for an item that is meant to be against the skin.

Should only be used for something that will only be decorative. But, pretty easy to work with.
I have never used this type yarn before but it worked great for my project I had in mind. I will definitely buy this again when I have another project! ------------- I am editing my review because even though the cushion is soft, which my grandson loves, I noticed that the yarn started fraying, almost as if it came in contact with velcro. All he did was carry it around with him alot. Handled it alot. So, it looks great as long as it is only to be a decorative piece. I don't think I would use it again it is for something that would be handled a lot.

Beautiful and soft but pulls apart easily
This is high quality roving and therefore breaks easily. I wouldn't recommend for beginners, but luckily I have been a fabric arts hobbiest for quite some time.
