These are essentially exactly the same as another smart plug I've purchased in the past. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! This plug works flawlessly whether you're in the room or in a totally different city. Being able to turn on and off devices while I'm away is simply amazing.Setup with the free application on Android 4.4. above and iOS was very easy and straightforward. It walks you through the setup process and asks you to enter your wifi password to connect it to your network. Once all of that is done you'll be able to control your outlet from anywhere in the world!

If you have dual band WiFi you won’t have any problems connecting. This is a great little device. I had to use the AP mode to connect these plugs to my WiFi but it was very easy, and I am not a tech person at all. I also had an issue with one plug not working correctly, I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement right away. So great plugs and great seller.

I bought these plugs in May 2018 and they worked great. Very easy to set up and very inexpensive. I moved in September and they did not work with my new network. I tried many times over a month and a half and they would not connect. I came to Amazon right now to buy some new ones and read a lot of reviews that said to pair them in AP mode. I did that and it worked! Pairing in AP mode is very easy- it’s the same process as adding an Echo Dot to your Alexa app. If you’re having any problems, try pairing in AP mode and that should fix it!

Tried five OTHER different brands and none would stay online. Constantly having to cycle power but not these. NOT a single failure or misoperation in over 4 months. Love the physical size, status indicator, and manual button. WISH I could select previous state when power is removed and restored. These will always be in OFF once power is restored as most units do.

These switches have been plugged in for a few weeks now and they work perfectly! I love that they can be remotely controlled with my iPhone, and/or programmed to come on at specific times. It's nice that they have a light to tell you whether they are on or off. I plan on ordering more!

Smart plug is so useful after I realize I can control the switch by my voice, and I am so glad I choose them. The instruction along with them is easy to understand. Register an account, add device, connect Google Home with it, then it's done. Now I use them to control my lamp. Please note if you can't control the plug through Google Home, just talk to Google's representative. They have ways to make it work on your phone.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago. Now i m using this for my backyard lighting control system, it’s pretty simple to use, I just need one click, then I can turn on or turn off my gazebo light, no matter where I stay, sometimes I m at work, I can also check to App to see if my gazebo light is still on.i can turn it off anytime by one click on my phone.

These work great for a while. But after about a year of use they've developed a mind of their own, usually turning off after about 2 to 3 hours when they're supposed to be running for 8 hours. Resetting the plugs used to fix this issue but now they do it constantly making them worthless for my application. I'll be looking into another brand and swapping out the 6 I've already purchased.
