Easy to use, great feel and lather
I purchased this soap base to make essential oil loofah soaps as Christmas gifts and I am so happy with its quality! I feel like the price was fair for the amount of base I received and it was so easy to melt down and add my own scents. Very simple to use and I love that it contains natural ingredients. It didn’t dry out my skin but cleaned really well and was very effective for gift giving.

Good stuff.
I'm not new to soap making. I've made my own cold process as well as used melt n pour bases like this for a while. The oatmeal soap base by Saint Terra is really good. I've bought the expensive stuff from two very well known specialty soap making suppliers, and this matches or exceeds the oatmeal bases from them.It takes scent and mica colors well, melts and moulds smoothly, cures quickly, and is a delight to work with. I use both pure essential oils and fragrance oils incase you were curious. In use, it suds up nicely with a smooth creamy lather, rinses clean, and isn't drying or harsh on my sensitive skin.Would recommend for novice and experienced soap makers alike.

Contains palm oil
More so disappointed that it has palm oil, I loved the brand the extra lather I would get but the palm oil was one major factor as to why I can’t use them as my main soap supplier. I can only buy the clear base that’s palm oil free. They need to add more soap base without palm oil at least give us a option. This is one of my favorite soap brands and I’m quiet disappointed because I run a all natural business, we’re using this product as a melt and pour but palm oil heated at a high temp can be cancerous. Great in DIY Shampoo Bars
Made Shampoo Bars with my girlfriends daughter over the weekend and this soap base was easy to work with and the bars turned out beautifully. I did melt over a double boiler since microwaving can cause moisture loss. We used only 1 lb. and were able to make 6 travel size and 4 large bars. Like most shampoo bars it will not foam lather like your typical shampoo but like soap. Very pleased and will order more in larger quantities, since these will make great gifts.

Great for beginners!
I made soap for the first time using this and it was really simple to use. The soap hardened within a few hours and came out really nice. Unfortunately being new to making soaps I didn’t realize that in humid weather the glycerin in the soap draws the moisture from the air and made little water bubbles all over the soap. Lesson learned. Will definitely buy this again when making more soap!
