What an amazing little tool. My water heater was 3 years old and we have a whole house water filter so I was skeptical if I even need to flush it. When I opened the drain nothing came out. The heater was too plugged. Using a simple bike pump I was able to loosen up the sediment and quite a lot of it came out. Don’t know what I’d do without it. Simple and effective. I used the product last night. I think my water heater was pretty limed up. (We have very hard water). The device addressed the problem. During the process the kitchen faucet got stopped up and I had to apply reverse air pressure to the faucet to clear it up.I ended up getting a lot of lime out, a lot of big chunks. The drain valve kept clogging up so I had to keep working with it until it ran freely. I worked for about 3 hours on this, and I will probably have to have another go at it. 90 PSI seemed about right. Now that I'm more familiar with this process, it will go more quickly.The device works well. The design and materials are good quality. I expect to use this for a long time. The clear plastic let me visually monitor what was going down the hose.It would be best to use this before the water heater gets too bad. Best for routine maintenance.I would buy again.

Took me nearly 20 minutes. Started with a tire pump, moved to an air compressor. Started with 40psi, increased to 60psi before water started flowing. Drained the tank completely. Did not see as much debris as expected, which I hope is a good thing. Product worked as intended. No leakage. Would recommend.

Following the instructions and watching the Sediment Busters company video was very informative and well made. You must pay attention to the details which's makes cleaning and purging sediment without issues.... This is my video and after watching and listening to the video I had No issues using this product... I was amazed to see how much debris came out of my water heater, so I'll be sure to flush my water heater on a regular basis... Good luck to Ya'll.

Worked even better then I hoping it would. Made draining my 80 gallon water heater super easy.

Used it on 2 water heaters that are 4 years old, flushed annually, and both have a corro protect powered anode rod. Product was easy to use and no leaks. Didn't expect much to come out but got a lot more than I've ever seen come out of water heaters. Mostly looked like fine beach sand but again I flush them annually. A bit pricey for what it is but what is the value of your time and knowing you are adding years of life to your water heaters? Easy to use, no need to open TPV (just open faucets), quick, and gets a lot of stuff out. Highly recommend
