50165 25ml Epoxy Syringe, Plain

I bought the **J-B Weld 50165 25ml Epoxy Syringe** to repair a **multi-part metal handle where the screw threads had completely failed**. It worked absolutely perfectly for the job! The syringe design makes it incredibly easy to dispense equal parts of the epoxy and hardener without any messy guesswork. I applied it directly to the stripped threads, screwed the parts back together, and let it cure. The bond is unbelievably strong—it essentially fused the metal pieces back into a single, solid unit. The handle is now completely secure and doesn't wiggle or budge at all under pressure. If you need a reliable, rock-solid fix for failing metal threads, this is exactly what you need!

I have tried various plastic Epoxy glues, and this one has proven to be absolutely the best of them all. It takes a long while to completely harden (I'd say, give it full 24 hours to be 100% certain), but that's not a bad thing as it also gives you plenty of time to set things right before the glue starts working. The only problem is that one of the two syringes was full of air bubbles. So don't go for tiny amounts - you may get a drop from syringe and nothing from the other. Or if you due, make sure you get equal amounts (say, 2 drops worth) from BOTH syringes. They have to be perfectly matched for glue to work. If you use a larger amount at once, perhaps to glue everything in your home that needs gluing, your two components will be more likely to be close to the ideal ratio. Other than that one little possible problem of air bubbles, the glue is perfect. BTW, it cures to warm gray color. It also takes heat quite well, both before mixing and once applied. I even glued the pot lid's handle with it, and it is holding perfectly well for months now, and with daily use.

This stuff is honestly amazing, liquid gold even. I have fixed dozens of things I believed to be goners. One gripe I do have is with the design of the tube, because it’s epoxy if you have some left over it will stick on the lid and pressing it down even lightly will still have a bunch come out.

J-B Weld is one of those products that’s worth keeping in the toolbox because you never know when you’ll need to repair something that ordinary glue simply can’t handle. I picked up the original steel-reinforced epoxy specifically for tougher repairs, and it has been much more confidence-inspiring than typical household adhesives. The syringe-style packaging makes it convenient to dispense the two components without making a huge mess. Mixing the epoxy is straightforward, and once applied, it feels substantially more robust than standard super glue or general-purpose adhesive. What I particularly like is its versatility. It’s useful for repairing metal and other rigid materials where you need a strong, durable bond rather than a quick temporary fix. It’s also helpful for filling small gaps and rebuilding damaged areas where simply gluing two clean surfaces together isn’t enough. The main thing to remember is that this is not an instant adhesive. You need to give it adequate time to set and fully cure, and proper surface preparation makes a noticeable difference. Cleaning, roughening, and fitting the surfaces properly before application can be just as important as the epoxy itself.

I used this to attach hangers to the back of ceramic pieces. And to attach knobs to the front pieces. So easy to use. No weird smells. Super easy to close so you don’t lose any. 10 out of 10 recommend for Ceramics! The photo is of the piece that I created and use the glue to stick a hanger on and the knobs on the front.

This stuff was amazing! Used it to fix a broken slate bed on a bar billiards table and it stick the slate solid and filled the gaps. Did a perfect job with it, holds really firmly and just the right constituency to work with. Highly recommended.
