Great device!
I got this range finder recently and it really a great surprise to me. Very tiny, light and easy to use. I can carry it in my pocket during a round. I compared it with my daughter’s Bushnell. Same accuracy. And it has one decimal place for yardage (Bushnell is whole number) which could be very useful for better players. The price is really reasonable. $100 vs $400 Bushnell, it is a winner!

Excellent value for money
I bought this instrument about two months ago. The instrument is palm size and very portable. I can use it in one hand. Not only is it portable, it is also very powerful. The image is very sharp. By adjusting the eyepiece, I get a very clear picture. The aiming circle is big and easily operable even on a windy day. For me that is a big plus. Last but not least, the flag lock mode and continuous scan function is very user friendly. My golf buddies have also found this equipment good value for money.

Good rangefinder for the price, needs a hard case and cold weatherproofing
I looked at others and it seemed the best one for the price at the time. I have used it about 100 times and it works great for the most part and its interface is decent and quick. Bit it doesnt work when it was cold outside, it would not take a reading. So after a few times of this i removed the battery and reinserted it and it started working properly again, long term we will see. Also i wish it had a hard case, i had to buy one seperately which adds to the cost. The soft case it comes with isnt going to protect the investment.

The best value and product
The AOFAR winswing GX-6F model product is very easy to use. I was using old model for a few years already and I bought new one recently. I went to golf course with my friends and played. Measurement response speed is very fast. Flag lock function is relatively stable. After locking on flag, it can continue to scan. This function is very practical and can prevent accidentally sweep to some objects behind the flag. I’d like to buy more as gifts to my golfer friends. The cost is very reasonable with function they had with slop, the product is very cute.

Great rangefinder
I doubt you can find a better unit for the price. I like the way it viabrates on the flagstick. I alwasy can get accurate measurements easily. I had an AOFAR previously and it lasted many years.

UPDATE: Not-So-Great Rangefinder for the Price.
Update - Sorry, I was slow on this update, After using the rangefinder for a month, I found a few things about this rangefinder that made using it cumbersome to nearly impossible. 1. The readings can be off by as much as several yards when multiple readings are taken from the exact same spot to the exact same target. I could understand a yard, but not several. Not only that, when a friend with a similar model took readings when standing side-by-side, we could be off by more than 5 yards and up to 10 yards. This is unacceptable if you want pinpoint accuracy. 2. When looking into a low-hanging sun, the glare makes it nearly impossible for the finder to lock on a flag. I tried cleaning the front of the finder thoroughly, but nothing helped. I did not experience this with my older unit which was range only (no slope). 3. On misty mornings, the finder doesn't pick up the flag and provide measurements. All of them have this issue to some degree, but this one is the worst or most sensitive that I have seen. 4. After using it on a half dozen outings, the unit has developed a problem in which it locks up after each reading. The power button stops working and nothing resets it other than removing the battery and reinserting it. Even allowing the unit to time out to turn it off does not resolve the lock-up. This was the last straw for me. Pay a little more for a better unit. This is obviously a case of, "you get what you pay for". Original review: I took this to the range today to give it a try. I have an old unit that doesn't have the slope functionality, so I broke them both out to compare range readings and to see what I needed the slope. I found that both units gave the same actual distances, but the slope information gave me the data I needed. The range isn't level, so I found the effective distances to be off by as much as 5 yards hitting to some pins, explaining why I wasn't getting the distance results I had expected when changing clubs and hitting these different pin placements. This is very valuable information when trying to learn your club yardages.

A sixty quid rangefinder? Really, I thought. And I'd imagine that you're as sceptical as I was. But fear not, this thing is simple to use and in all the situations I've used it, seems to be accurate. When compared to my GPS watch and known yardages on my home course, this thing hasn't been wrong yet. Be warned - you do need a steady hand though! The view is magnified so the slightest tremor will cause big wobblies through the eyepiece. Press a button and crosshairs appear. Press it again and it tells you how far the bit in the crosshair is. This will more than likely be a leaf or whatever is in the backgound of your view. You'd need to be superman to center this on a golf flag and get the correct reading. It can be done with practice but .... .... this thing has a trick up its sleeve! Get the crosshairs roughly on the flag and press and hold the button and you'll be rewarded with a vibration as it "locks on" to the flag! And hey presto, it tells you how far away that flag is. For the money, I doubt you could better this. In fact, I doubt you'd better it for twice the money. It might lock on to the wrong object once in a while but you'd have to be pointing it at a thin vertical item resembling a flag within view of the flag you're trying to get the range for. You soon figure out how to avoid this. Excellent tool for any golfer.
