I found this on accident and decided to try it out because it seemed perfect for my use cases. I’ve had this sound card for about two weeks. So to start It Exceeds expectations by actually working with a phone even though says it does not. I got both my iPhone 13 Pro and an Samsung phone to recognize it for my music producing apps over an otg dongle. Not only am I saving in size with this I save a little bit of money by not having to use a larger audio interface for inputs which is usually our only option. Im about to order their even smaller one from them to test and see if can do what this one does. It could be one of the best solutions for audio input for phones in my use cases. On the windows PC/steam deck everything worked perfectly as promised. I tested it out and OBS with all the inputs and both the outputs can be used all at the same time. I don’t think you can find another sound card solution that has this many stereo inputs plus the two stereo outputs at this size and excellent build quality. Oh and it’s plug and play with no sketchy driver download situation.

Great for what it does. Like many USB products can be finicky and frustrating. For example, works ok with windows 11 but “buggy” with Ubuntu. Depends on the app, too.

So good I bought a second one. Easy to connect. Windows 11 saw it right away. Attached my mixer to it and everything sounds very clean. Expanded the capabilities of my mini-pc.

So, this is a great and well made solution for someone like me who needs dual mic capability. I bought a new computer which didn't have a specific audio in port, just headphones, and needed an external audio interface - this works for that need. However: I already had another, smaller and portable Rode AI Micro that I travel with - when comparing sound quality and volume, the other one worked much better with my existing Rode units. This Cubilix CB5 unit is a good price, has plug and play compatibility with my windows 11 PC, is solidly made with an aluminum housing, allows each mic to be labeled, and the volume is easily controlled with whatever program you are using to record (I use OBS and simply added 6db to increase volume). I ended up returning this because I happen to have a better solution, but it'd be a great solution for me if I didn't already have another unit specific to my existing mics.

I bought this to interface my computer with an older ham radio mainly on the strength of it having line level ports instead of just headphones/mic. It was detected on Windows 11 with no problems and got to work immediately. It seems even more sensitive than my Signalink USB since it didn't work at first until I found I was putting way too much signal into it. Does not have the sound artifacts that cheaper ones have. The pictures really don't tell the story but this thing is only 2.75 inches wide. There's nothing to it!

The port that Apple refused to give you, and so much more! Works great with both USB-C and older MacBook Pro's. Tip: I almost returned this item as defective until remembering that the source volume level from a MacBook Pro audio out/Headphone jack (and other devices) must be pretty high, ~ 75% or more, to get an audible signal to substitute as Line Out. This is just the industry standard difference between a Line Out jack vs Headphone jack at the source. Once headphone output was cranked up, it was clear the Cubilux was working like a charm the entire time.

I ordered this twice, the first time the shipping envelope had been ripped open and was empty upon arrival. The second time, they shipped it in a box and it arrived with no issue. However, I am return the sound card for several issue. Of the ports, the only one that seems to work is the leftmost mic port, but it severely clips (envelopes) both the high and low end frequencies. The second mic port doesn't work at all. The line in port detect when a cable is plugged in, but does not actually function. I did not test the line out port as I have no use for it (although I did double check that it was not actually a mislabeled input considering how most of the other ports refused to function). The headphones port does detect when a cable is connected, but again does not actually work. Avoid at all costs!

I was hoping that the device would show up to a PC as a single device with multiple channels of input and output but it shows up more as a hub with multiple audio devices connected. Still useful but not exactly what I needed. I decided to keep it anyway because it was inexpensive and I can find a use for it. It is tiny for the number of inputs and outputs included and requires no external power separate from USB which is convenient.

Works for what I needed it for. If this was under £20 it would be a good deal.

Top Gerät. Funktioniert sofort am Mac und stellt einwandfrei die beschriebenen Ein- und Ausgänge zur Verfügung, was für meinen Apple M3 Max mit lediglich einem Kopfhörerausgang ohne Line-out eine wichtige Erweiterung für jeden Musiker und Tontechniker ist. Früher war das mal ein Kombiausgang am Mac. Heute braucht man dieses kleine Spitzengerät.
