Mini Compass, Black, One Size

This compass replaces a similar Brunton model that developed a leak. I have this compass with me every day and pin it to my coat when hunting. It is accurate and reliable. It is graduated in 5-degree increments and is a bit nettlesome to set a bearing precisely, but it can be done. It has the features of a full sized compass and is well worth the price. Another wonderful Silva product. Fast shipping from the vendor. I will buy another in the future.

China made. But seems decent enough for an emergency back up. Read lots of reviews about bubbles. Mine showed up bubble-free. Time will tell. As aforementioned, was only purchased as a back up. Not a primary. Seems to have the right functions for the intent. Mirror is clear, sighting line is straight. Maybe they worked out their qc issues, or I just got lucky. Idk

This a well made compass in a compact size. Has most of the features of a full size compass, but it fits easily in your pocket. This is the second one that I have owned, my original has been faithfully working for over 20 years. No bubble like cheaper models.

I must echo the same as what multiple prior reviewers have mentioned....bubbles. Although Silva has a generally great reputation for manufacturing quality compasses they have moved the manufacturing to China and I think we all have our own opinions on products made there. These compasses are not being built to the standards that Silva was in Sweden.The one I bought arrived in the mail today with a significant bubble in it. I cannot in good conscious keep it. It's one thing for it to develop over time in a compass I have had, and another thing for it to come straight from the factory with a bubble in it.It's too bad because the rest of it seems to be in good condition. The bezel ring was good and tight, the markings were clear the plastic housing, although cheap feeling was satisfactory enough to do the job intended.The hinge in impressive. It's nice and tight and sturdy feeling. I have confidence that it would hold up over time if I were to keep it.All in all I just wish that Silva was still making these. They had a great thing going at one time.

A full-feature compass the size of a book of matches. More accurate and confidence inspiring than the cheezie zipper-pull compasses of similar size. The safety pin built into he lid hinge is a clever way of pinning the compass to one's chest for hands free navigation. I'm glad these are being offered in the US, now. Previously I had to send away to England to buy one of these.

Bought this to replace a lost one...Best EDC compass ever, small, lightweight, with all the features of its bigger brothers (except declination adjustment, you have to remember that on your own).I've packed these in all the trips I take.You can't go wrong with this companion.

Easy to use. Should work great as a backup compass. But flimsy.

Perfect size for my needs . BUT ! All three Ive purchased have developed air bubbles before other models I own . I think the clear plastic is too thin . Not the end of the world but . . Who wants a stupid bubble in their compass ? After all these years you would think someone would come up with a design and material that eliminates this pesky factor .

Comes complete with a bubble already so you don't have to worry about getting one they forgot the snap on the case oh ya forgot the the luminous on the sighting mark seriously what has happened to the name Silva not much better than a button compass pure Junk just a total waste of your money.
