The kit has all you need... but watch a Youtube video for your particular phone. and have some tweezers handy as well... One more thing.. have a way to MAGNETIZE the screwdriver... (a fridge magnet would probably work).. cause the screws are TINY... and keeping them in place really needs the driver to be magnetic. Don't panic and you're all set.

You have to read it carefully. I took out to many screws but marked where they would need to go and the battery plugged into the phone and then I hooked up the charger and it works just like new.

I needed to replace the charge port so I decided to replace the battery also since this battery said it was an upgrade. when it actually is a downgrade from the old one that was about half of what it was new. This battery is terrible it only last a few hours and once dead its hard to get it to take a charge at all it takes a long time b4 I can turn it on and even with a good turbo charger if its at 15% or lower and I use phone it will die while charger is hooked up. I do not and will not recommend. now do I try a different battery its a gamble think I will go for new phone

Installed battery with help of a youtube video. It now lasts as long as it used to when i first got it, i get 2 days of battery life and all the little quirky issues i was having with my phone went away.Good price, good product!

So, after some initial headaches, phone is working and this new battery is great. The old battery was losing charge fast and sometimes suddenly without warning. This one charges up good and lasts much longer than the old one has for a long time. HOWEVER...The instructions could use some improvement. During the install, I fried the screen. Looking online I found that removing or inserting the ribbon cable for the screen while the battery is still connected can fry your screen. The instructions don't go into detail on this, but if you follow them as written, it's most likely you will have two steps where you might unintentionally damage your screen. SO MAKE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE OLD BATTERY CABLE BEFORE REMOVING THE SCREEN CABLE, THEN AFTER THE NEW BATTERY IS IN PLACE, RECONNECT THE SCREEN CABLE BEFORE CONNECTING THE NEW BATTERY CABLE. This isn't even covered in a lot of the Youtube videos out there.An alternative is just leave the screen connected through the whole process, but then it gets awkward working with it and you risk damaging the screen cable itself. So unless you're really careful and/or have a shop set up that will hold everything in place good, I wouldn't recommend that.Also, lesser complaint - a T5 screwdriver was included and the screw for the connection cover required a T4. I saw someone else had the same complaint. Maybe some versions of the Z4 had a T5? If so, maybe include both in the kit? Luckily, I already had a precision screwdriver set.

It took me a few times watching someone on youtube take my model phone apart, but I took it slow doing the job and everything worked great.Four months later the new battery is still working just fine with no apparent degradation.

Kit with battery may be complete, but it is hard to know what the 2 different adhesive strips are to be used for or how to use them. The phone is back together and works but no way is it as waterproof as before.
