Pleasantly surprising quality for the price, get the Gift switch version! Great Sound and Value!
Honestly I'm quite pleasantly surprised with the board. Definitely get the Gift Switch version and not the Flying Fish version, at least if your preference is a slightly better feel than barely touching the key to make it immediately bottom out. The Gift switch isn't too much heavier to initially press down, but it has a stronger resistance to being pressed all the way down, and the initial difference at least for me personally is definitely my preference. If you want a super light switch though, the Flying Fish version may be for you, I just found I kept accidentally pressing keys I didn't mean to, but have a much more enjoyable experience on the Gift switch version! The overall typing experience and feel is really solid, one of the best sounding keyboards and over all feel I've ever personally typed on. This is especially considering my previous keyboard that wasn't integrated into my device I owned was I believe a corsair k70 or something similar from 5 or more years ago that was probably worse build quality and definitely lacked any sort of upgradability without needing to de-solder every switch, among other things that are just way too much hassle and when the idea of modding keyboards was way relatively novel. This board, is definitely unapologetically plastic, but for being all plastic, there really is not all that much give. It has pretty much every modern feature you'd be looking for: - Solid quality keycaps and material (at least in terms of sound and feel, how they hold up after a lot of use will need further use) - A gasket mount which makes the overall typing experience feel a little softer. - A really nice typing sound and feel, probably aided by some extra layers of foam and or other things in the board that's way more technical know-how than I can describe, point is, without modding at all, sound and feel are really nice! - South facing LEDs for less risk of clearance issues modding in the future, particularly certain keycap profiles (OEM, XDA just a few examples). - Hotswappable switches! If a key switch were to wear out and or you wanted to change the switches out for ones that feel different to type on, you can do so without needing to solder the switches, it's simply much more beginner friendly. - A Knob for easy access volume control! - A Software that admittable is kind of, not fantastic (and kind of difficult to actually find, I just recommend the v1.0 on epomaker's site) but allows you to change the lighting modes and stuff a little bit easier than following through the manuals fn + (various key presses) for different effects, as well as I believe change some keybinds on the keys. If you are having issues getting it to allow you to change things on the keyboard, note that it has to be specifically plugged in via usb and not a wireless connection with the included dongle or bluetooth. - A Screen on the keyboard that can display gifs though I haven't specifically set that up myself since it's just not that important to me. A genuinely let down on the screen is that you can adjust it to be your computer's date and time via the software, but it is not at all really customizable beyond just the gif option. It's stuck using the 24hr clock instead of am/pm, and at least I don't believe you can change it. If learn otherwise I'll update this review! - USB C to A, Bluetooth, and 2.4g Dongle connectivity that at least testing specifically via 2.4g dongle, has no real world latency difference in terms of feel wireless vs wired! - RGB! The colors are pretty solid, a fair bit of decent customization options, but nothing really to write home about, definitely less customization compared to a Razer or Corsair keyboard, but enough that in general for most people, probably won't really matter especially if you stick it to one solid color. A couple downsides to the RGB is that if you have caps lock or windows lock, or are charging, there's a bright LED that definitely kind of bleeds into the other LEDs around them which can lessen the overall look, especially since I don't believe you can change those LEDs specifically. For what it is, it's a very solid board that I can definitely see myself potentially doing a little bit of light modding with over time as I get a little more into the custom keyboard hobby. Given my experience with it, it's feels like a very nice starting point to learn what I like in terms of feel and to be able to change and adapt it easily over time! It's definitely not perfect, but it's quite a huge value even over a board that's probably $20 cheaper, this is definitely worth it for the over all value proposition, unless you're gonna start looking at more around $100 boards.

Great Keyboard
Really great keyboard for the price! I love the sound and the screen to display your favorite pictures or gifs. The RGB lights and settings are so cool too. I got some white key caps to match my set up, but the keyboard works well with any design/color. The only βbadβ thing about the keyboard would be the software set up. Getting gifs on the screen is a bit confusing. I had to refer to Reddit for steps as the manual wasnβt working for me.

screen is actually useful
I thought the screen was gonna be gimmicky and useless/aesthetic but jeez. Having a visual indicator for connecting to bt/2.4 and battery life (instead of dubious colored (maybe) blinking lights) is awesome. This keyboard itself is fantastic. Adorable, feels great, sounds great. Light but doesnβt feel cheap! Cute color scheme- backlight is smooth but the keycaps themselves arenβt backlit.

This keyboard is amazing, requires a little set up time.
CONS- I would like to start off with the bad news first and say that I ordered this keyboard as a new product but when it arrived, it came in an old keyboard box. The keyboard itself appeared to be in relative new condition though, so maybe just recycled and reused an old box, (Not a huge issue and actually good for environment). When I plugged in the keyboard, the screen was by default in Chinese and though it was not a huge issue trying to change it from Chinese to English. The software for the keyboard was the same way and defaulted to Chinese as the main language. Not a big deal, once again just a simple switch. The instruction manual also defaults to Chinese first (not a big deal, just flip to the end of the book for English). But I will say that for international buyers maybe they should have changed to English as default for the keyboard. The software needs to be cleaned up and updated, as well as the website; (it looks like one of those scam websites and malware/virus software). PROS- This keyboard is actually very good. I having been using mechanical keyboards for over 10 years (Red Switches & Blue switches) and I though I'm not an expert in custom keyboards and all the different switches. This keyboard is definitely a very good one. I really like the type of sound it makes when I'm typing on it; similar to popping bubble wrap maybe? With to the red switches on this keyboard, if I wanted to be more silent about the sound I can still type without depressing the keys all the way down. This keyboard also comes with a screen on it and generally around this price point there aren't many keyboards that come with a screen. The screen is customizable with the keyboard software, though I will agree with many others that it did take some research and the software UI is not the best. It still works and looks pretty cool.

Great multi purpose keyboard
I use this keyboard on a daily letter. Itβs doing schoolwork, side gigs, or even gaming. Itβs perfect. When you have music control wanna change the lighting not to mention how you can even change the tiny screen there to any gift you want or create one. You also have the option to switch to 2.4/Bluetooth or even wire wired. The battery life on this classes, me to about two weeks. Iβve honestly am impressed with the typing, especially with the switches. Itβs not too loud or too quiet. Itβs just perfect. This is easy to take on the go if you need this for school or I want to take it to your job as you have options for multipurpose. The keyboard size is just perfect for me and it gets me through throughout the day, specially for being graphic designer.

Perfect!
The sound is incredible out of the box, a lovely ~thocky x poppy~ mix. I did switch out the keycaps to better match my setup which made the sound more dense. It has some weight to it which gives a more premium feel. The lighting modes and settings are pretty standard for keyboards in this range. You can download the official AJAZZ software online to change more settings and add a custom GIF to the mini screen. Bought on sale for under $50 and would HIGHLY recommend!

Just received this keyboard and I am OBSESSED. It sounds so nice and I love playing around with all the customisation options. Even created a little heart which is the cutest. And the best part of the keyboard is the little lcd display, you can put literally anything you want and itβs so cute!!! I love it

I'm very pleased to share my thoughts on the EPOMAKER Ajazz AK820 Pro 75% keyboard, which was a gift, and I'm happy to report that my wife genuinely loves it. It easily earns a full 5-star rating from me, and I highly recommend it. This keyboard makes an excellent impression right out of the box. The 75% layout is a fantastic balance, providing a compact footprint without sacrificing essential keys. It feels incredibly well-built, giving off a sense of real quality and durability. What truly stands out is the typing experience. The key presses are smooth and satisfying, with a pleasant tactile feel and an equally enjoyable sound profile that isn't overly loud or distracting. It's clear that attention was paid to the switches and stabilizers, resulting in a consistent and enjoyable feel across the entire board. The overall design and aesthetics are also quite appealing. It has a clean, refined look that fits well into various setups. Beyond the typing, the connectivity options and general responsiveness have been flawless. Knowing it was a gift and seeing how much it's appreciated only adds to its appeal. It's a testament to a well-chosen and well-crafted piece of technology. In summary, for anyone considering a high-quality, compact mechanical keyboard with a superb typing feel and attractive design, the EPOMAKER Ajazz AK820 Pro 75% is an outstanding choice that certainly lives up to expectations.
