Great Quality
The quality is very good, it is light and easy to carry, the light has excellent quality and power. The quality looks very premium for the price.

Weak battery
I love pretty much everything about this light but the battery dies very fast and even when you have it plugged in to charge the light is still low. The light is only bright when the battery is fully charged.

Great for Crafters and Content Creators
I purchased this boom light for my wife for jewelry making. It's not uncommon for customers to want to see videos of their piece during creation, and it makes creating videos for product listings a breeze with nothing but your phone. The clamp is very solid and does a good job of keeping the unit stable. The boom movement can be a bit tricky, it's not as fluid as a stabilizer or gimbal, but it's good enough for amateur use, and produces great results. It's a little too direct to be an "all the time" like for her needs, but it has become a regular part of her process.Best Features- Expanding phone holder works with a phone case- The anchor is very solidThe consThe boom arm movement is only really fluid if you're moving up and down or right and left, it's not great for doing pans and zooms.

Functions well for holding a smart phone but nothing bigger.
This type of item often will sag over time even with minimal load on the arm so I may update this review later on if this happens.Meanwhile,Lets start with the part that mounts on your table. This worked well and tightened up quite nicely. But I recommend you do what I did. I'm not sure why nobody does this in the manufacturing process for these but since nobody does I won't take points off. The jaw for these should always be much bigger so they distribute the load without leaving a mark on your table. So do what I do and use a 4" - 6" square of 1/8" thick to 1/4" thick plywood on the bottom and top of your table to act as a buffer between the jaws and the table. If you don't have plywood thick heavy duty cardboard is almost as good. If your table is kind of junky then don't bother. This step is to protect your table and nothing else.Next, don't put anything other than a smart phone on this. The heavier the weight the more it will sag over time. This is only intended for smart phones and not tablets or other kinds of cameras or microphones unless they weigh less than a smart phone. To help extend the life of this arm never leave it with the load in place. That is to say, when you are not using it, loosen the knobs and then lay if flat on your table. If you just leave it with the arm extended with the smart phone attached it will start to sag and eventually there will be no amount of tightening that will compensate. You'll thank me a few years from now when your arms is still functional. Also, the more extended it is the more it will sag. If you mostly use it in a very vertical position it will last longer than if it is extended all the way out horizontally. The manufacturers of these extension arms rarely offer these tips. Experience has taught me the above.Other than that, my phone mounted fine, I have a track phone blu in a rubber case and it fit fine no issues. I'd guess this would probably adjust to virtually all current major cell phones in their cases and possibly some old flip phones though not sure if anyone would want to do that. The light is moderately bright but not studio bright so don't expect that but then for the price who would. In general, for the price and the above caveats I recommend this product for only it's intended use.
