Well made tool
Well made product with plenty of spare scribing points. The steel ruler is a bonus and comes in very handy when marking up small parts.

Good value
Decent quality and an exceptional value. 20 spare carbide tips included make for an excellent value.

Many Years of Use.
You I didn't need a new scribe for about 6mo. I couldn't find them, they were still in the little cardboard "pencil box" they came in.... I was looking for a plastic thingy (they are in a plastic sleeve). Obviously , these will last me many years with the replacement tips, as long as I can remember where I put them.

Just OK
These look and feel great. Problem is it is impossible to get the points tightened into the pen without using pliers. When I try to pull the protective cap off of the end to use it, the whole scriber insert pulls out of the pen.

It scratches stuff
Cheap, scratches metal, comes with extra pokey bits. Magnets on ends could be more impressive, but I didn’t buy these for that purpose.

Good value
The black tips are too blunt on ends for my useI make sheet brass /aluminum patterns, put dykem on my steel stock, and trace with scriber around my patterns to lay out the partsThe red tip were too blunt also,,for pattern tracing, tracing, ok for general use,so I took the black tip blunt carbide tips, and put them in a drill, and ground them on a bench grinder to a very sharp point, this makes them easily breakable, you just have to remember not to press hard, and if they break, put one of the spares in the holder, and re grind laterBut you can see around the tip,to do precision work

Not bad
Overall a good product. My only gripe is that they don’t tighten up very much to hold the tip in place. It’s probably not a huge deal, but I would like it to tighten more. They don’t fall out, but you can pull them out very easily.
