These were a great stocking stuffer for my LEO husband. He thinks they are a great idea to use at work. Bonus they come in a 4 pack so they make good shift gifts if you split them up. One made it through the washing machine and dryer unscathed, so 5 stars for durability.

I tested these out on my normal sized door and it worked really great. The stoppers definitely stopped the door from completely closing and the pieces feel very durable and easy to travel with.

Considering the size and weight of these door stops, they are so portable and easy for first responders to carry on your person during your tour. I've seen the young bucks with these on their vest; we old timers always used mail laying in vestibules for door stops. This piece of kit is superior. In high-stress situations, the door stops can be quickly and easily implemented. The material is well-made and stretches to fit a variety of doors. I've responded to plenty of calls to buildings with locked entryways/doors that you have to be buzzed into or let into by the caller. If anyone else showed up to my call to assist or to respond to a help call, they'd have to go through the same process of entering the building. With tools like these door jams, that's no longer an issue. These small simple tools can potentially save your life, as seconds matter if you need help, and this minimizes and/or gets rid of potential damage to property. Best part is, these small door jams are pretty discreet, leaving most people to not know what these are, or that they won't even realize that these are being used. Of course, if these are removed by someone who didn't want a door propped open, then these would be rendered useless. If these are stolen/lost, at least they're relatively a low expense and affordable to replace

I'm a building inspector and often have to go in basements or roofs where doors have a nasty habit of being auto-locking and self-closing. This is a simple easy to carry stop that sits reliably, doesn't slip and accommodates a wide range of door slabs. The lanyard loop is an extra nice touch in both pulling it out of a vest pocket or in looping over a door knob in case its bumped off. These are light and well made. Should provide years of use.
