Speed confusion
The product description describes this as 3.2 gen 1 and having a write speed of 30 mb/sec and read of 100 mb /sec, 3.2 gen 1 can reach 5GB/s. I wrote the same set of large files 30GB in total to 8 of these and got a consistent write performance of 50mb/sec (more than advertised) They all worked fine even connecting through a couple of different USB hubs and ports all of which can manage the 5GB/sec usb 3.

Small and tactile
Needed to add something small to my Amazon order to get free shipping. Pleasantly surprised with this USB drive as had not expected it to be so small and made of metal but it is well designed and machined with an addictive click when turning to use either the USB-A or USB-C end.Only wish these cane in lower GB size so could use them more often. Ideal to use for USB-C for my phone backup memory storage.
