Exeter Corned Beef (pack of 10), 12 oz

So...I ordered this for St. Patrick's, and...oops. they sent the wrong thing. I wrote Kovafood about it, and received a polite reply within the same hour, acknowledging the mistake and offering to send the beef right away. They updated me twice, I had it five days later, which I think was very good turnaround. So, excellent customer service, timely deliveries. Mistakes happen.The beef is delicious. Had it for dinner, very mild spices, not overly salted, full flavor, fried up nicely. It's ground, not sliced. Next time I will start with diced green and red peppers, onions, carrots and celery, then add the beef once those are softened. Should make a very good hash. I was out of potatoes,, so served it with lightly sautéed sauerkraut and a bit of brown mustard. Very tasty. Will also work for Reubens, if you slice it thin out of the tin. Very similar to Spam in texture.For those who had trouble with the key, I'm old enough a lot of things came that way. The trick is, you have to unthread the key off the tab it comes on and reverse it so the handle is below the bottom of the cab. Thread it back on the tab, and SLOWLY turn it for the first bit. (For me, I tried it both directions - it worked better to roll towards the middle of the can). Once you have broken the vacuum seal slowly, it will turn easily around the bottom third of the can, with a thin strip of tin coiling around the key.

Not your typical grocery store Corned Beef in a can. It is less densly packed which makes lighter than other bransd.
