Good History
This is typical Edwards; third party narration, real facts and a story that holds your interest. This is a well researched pieceof the Canada's' Motorcycle Club History and I mean History of which we have a bunch. If your interested in good Canadian Motorcycle HistoryThis one will fit the bill. Peter tells a good factual story you might enjoy.

Pretty good. One minute he's a kid getting beat ...
Pretty good. One minute he's a kid getting beat up by his dad, next he's an adult beating someone up. Kept going back and forth in time. Once you get onto a good story line it changes to something else. Was pretty good when he got old and decided to get to know all his kids,

A real STAND UP BIKER !!!
Guindon is the real deal ! Plus, it's good to read about another "legend" in the outlaw biker scene, unlike some of the O/B books that have been released in the last few years. Anyone who likes to read about Outlaw Bikers and Boxing ( which are 2 of my personal favorites ) will love this book. I also think Peter Edwards did a great job, and I hope he continues to write about the Canadian Outlaw scene. Guindon keep swinging and jamming in the wind.Buy or Die!DWB MHB2990 86'D 4LIFE

BORING
Good story about boxing, and prison life. Pretty boring to say the least. Waste of money. Read sixty seven percent, kept asking myself when it would pick up.

Boring
I’m a tough guy , blah blah blah , I beat up people, blah blah blah , I had a lot of women blah blah blah. Same old nonsense from a different person but the fact is , no true 1%er writes a book. Period

Read my review, then decide!
If you're interested in knowing more about Ontario MC's from the 60s to the 2000s, this is a great summary! It's very well written and quite funny at times! Having met Bernie at the Niagara Grand Opening in 09, knowing Mark D, having a mutual friend and partying with Vagabonds in the 70's, made it even more special. Buy it, you won't be disappointed! This author has the talent of putting these tails, into the perfect context. Exactly where they need to stand! If you have a problem with swearing in books, don't buy it! Bernie tells it exactly as it was! I loved this book it was great!

A pretty good read about Bernie Guindon and the Club with the coolest name.
This is a well written book, but it's not the history of The Satan's Choice Motorcycle Club and its members. Instead, Peter Edwards writes a professionally documented, albeit fairly depressing personal history about Bernie Guindon, the long time president of the club who revived it from its ashes in the early 1960s. Guindon reveals precious little about club business or its workings, but he does go into serious detail about how he was sent to prison for the bulk of his MC patch days. There are plenty of stories about the members, some funny, some not so funny, some quite sad. There's also plenty about Bernie's abusive upbringing and his own demons. Unfortunately the writer barely answers some of the hard questions though, like how Satan's Choice became so big and so feared, but incredibly vanished into history. For anyone who grew up during the Satan's Choice era this book is a pretty good read.

like all his previous books
I've read virtually all of Peter Edwards' books and this one, like all his previous books, doesn't disappoint.Bernie Guindon was a biker's biker, but Edwards deftly illustrates his rational and soft side so we get a complete 360 degree understanding of the man.Highly recommended read if you are into the genre as I am.
