I learned so much about life and history and culture from this book. This is a discovery of culture and history through the commentary provided by a diverse perspective and cultural understanding of the importance of life.

While in school, I took a class focusing on Asian religions, and since then, I've loved learning as much as I could. For anyone new to the complex story telling of ancient India, this is an amazing book to read! It will certainly take some time to get through, but you will also find yourself captivated by every page. This is one I absolutely plan on reading again!

Absolutely a must-read book if you are a fan of Indian culture and its legends and epics. The book grabs the reader's attention from the first page.
