Crafty Creatures by Jane Bull (2013-09-02) Hardcover – 1745

I loved Crafty Creatures by Jane Bull. It arrived just as my seven-year old grandson was visiting for a week. The weather wasn't conducive to outside play, so we spent much of our time crafting, with the help of Crafty Creatures. The photos are wonderful and directions were easy to follow.I bought a big selection of felt, which was very inexpensive. We followed the directions, but used our own creativity. We made a bed for the three bears out of a matchbox cover and added more accessories for a little dog. My grandson did a fantastic job, considering it was his first sewing experience and he had fun. It was a great `reality' activity. I highly recommend the book and the activities it contains.

These are great projects for kids and adults alike. These projects are accessible to the beginner and have clear directions and lots of color photos. I purchased this for myself and my daughters (7 and 4) and will enjoy making many of these together with them.

This little book has some adorable creatures in it for crafting. There are several different techniques that one can use to make these critters. My favorite are the knitted creatures of course.Young crafters will definitely need the help of an adult.But the projects are cute. The book works good on the kindle fire 2012 version.

Absolutely adorable little creatures to make and comes with all easy instructions and templates, etc. I purchased this for my 7 yr old for her birthday, and we have both had so much fun just looking at the pics! We can't wait to get started making the little animals, as they are all very adorable and look to be super easy to make. I'm even looking forward to making them as gifts! We originally checked this same title out at the library, and after renewing it twice, realized that we wanted to just buy it, so we'd have it always!

wonderful book with great projects!

I LOOOOVE this book for teaching kids about sewing and knitting! It offers engaging photos and fun ideas for kids to create. This is my second copy, as the first was damaged when it got wet. --Mrs. Fitz

Love the patterns

This book has fantastic instructions, easy to follow pictures...I even taught myself how to purl just from the pictures! The projects are fast and easy to put together, but also easy to modify if need be.
