The DDM HID kit is one of the best selling HID kits in the world. First introduced in 2006, the DDM HID Kit is the original slim HID kit on the market. Since it's introduction we've made improvements to continue offering one of the highest quality kits available at an amazing price. BULBS: UV Coated quartz glass from Philips, salts from APL USA and electrodes from Shyaer. BALLASTS: Each ballast is assembled using micro processors to have a smaller footprint and insure the highest output. All DDM ballasts power the bulbs with AC current to keep efficiency high and power consumption down. Industry Standard universal 9006 input. Each ballast is potted to protect against the elements and can withstand the vigorous abuse of off-road use. Internal circuits are protected against reversed polarity.WIRING: All non OEM HID bulbs come with Plug and Play adaptors to go between the factory wiring and the ballast (or HID Accessory) so there is no cutting or splicing needed. Industry standard AMP connectors are used to attach the bulb and ballast. WARRANTY: We offer a 3 year warranty on all components in the kit.KIT INCLUDES: 2 x Ballasts 2 x HID Bulbs 2 x AdaptorsCompact Design:35W Ballast: 63mm wide, 15mm tall and 83mm longNote: This is a non-Canbus HID kit. If your vehicle requires Canbus system, or you have DRL (daytime running light) built on your low beam or high beam, you would need to use a Canbus 35W HID kit instead, to prevent/address any compatibility issue.

Garbage bulbs.
Bought 2 sets, one to use as spare parts, just in case. Of the 4 bulbs I received, 3 are manufactured off center. This results in a terrible hotspot and beam pattern. I didn't even buy the kits at the same time, so it's bigger than a lot number problem. I emailed the manufacturer directly regarding the issue and they responded to "submit a support ticket through Amazon". So, rather than a manufacturer supporting their product and handling the issue directly, they want me to return the item to Amazon. (3 out of 4 faulty, so I would probably have to return and reorder multiple times to get bulbs that are adequately center). That's fine, I will purchase my kit from a reputable manufacturer that knows the definition of quality parts. You get what you pay for in this case. Chinese QC at its best.

Would recommend to others
I've been using DDM HIDs for my previous two cars, had to have it for my next one. Yes they're priced low, but that doesn't mean the quality is cheap. The first set I bought from them lasted 4 years before I sold that vehicle. I decided to give DDM a shot the first time because my eyes aren't so good at night and the difference the HIDs made left me feeling comfortable to drive in the dark. I recently tried their 3k kit on my fog lights and have no regrets. It's a nice golden yellow. Also, If you're stuck between deciding on 35 watt or 55 watt, the 35s are in my opinion 3 times brighter than your stock halogens. That's more than enough for commutes in the dark. Installation is easy, any DIY inclined person can do it. All in all, great company and great product. I'd definitely buy from them again.

They were fairly easy to install
I bought these for my 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. They were fairly easy to install, the pain was removing the old lights from my car, it's not a very easy task to do. But the lights themselves work well and look good. I also bought the extra wiring harness so that it grabs power from the battery. This will prevent the flickering and the 1 light on 1 light off you sometimes see out in the road. The ballast are small enough to fit in small places, I used double sided tape and zip ties to help keep them in place. I got the 35W 6K slim kit.Harness: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GPQUGLA/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_12d

Solid inexpensive bulbs if you get the right size
make sure to get the kind that corresponds to your stock bulb type, so the little locking section works right. i have a 2003 mazda miata and with the 9006 bulb type, these are plug and play and work EXTREMELY well.my only gripe is the beam is a little crooked and seems to be thrown very far up, probably because my projector housings are not designed for HIDs, so the light forming is a little weirdalso, they have a slight high pitched buzzing sound when on, but you only really hear it with the hood open

Great product, has that nice white color with no blue which is a plus for me since I want to see at night instead of "looking cool". Warm up time is a bit long even for HIDs but no biggy for me. It looked like it was used and not brand new but still works fine. Been using it for about 8 to 10 months with no issues, highly recommended

Easy install and work perfect.
Took 15 minutes to install. The only reason it took that long is it took 5 minutes to unpack and test before I started the install. The ballasts are so small that i was able to fit the entire assembly inside the headlight module behind the dust cap in my fiat 500. Lifetime warranty!!! Lets hope I dont ever have to use it but it is nice to know its there.

Ballast Failed within days, may not have been authentic DDM
Not sure if this was an authentic DDM Kit because one of the ballasts failed within a few days of installing. I've owned other DDM products that I ordered directly through them and no issues. So I had to return it for full refund, which was no issue.
