This lightweight yet warm down quilted coat from SLOW DOWN is your must-have item to keep you warm and comfortable in cold weather. Featuring a quilted design and filled with down feathers, this jacket is lightweight and durable. The long length provides additional coverage and protection, and the fit is figure-flattering, with a streamlined silhouette that highlights your natural shape. With its classic and timeless style, this jacket is a must-have addition to your winter wardrobe. Review: Feather-light but cozy. - This is a “grab-and-go” puffer that nails the basics: it’s light, warm for its weight, and easy to stuff in a tote when the sun pops out. The mid-length cut is the star—covers the hips, so windy days feel a lot less… drafty. What I like • Feather-light but cozy. It’s the jacket you forget you’re wearing until you step into the cold and realize it’s doing real work. • Mid-length + hood = practical. Extra coverage without feeling bulky; the hood actually stays on in a breeze. • Packable. Squishes down small for travel, school runs, or tossing in the car. • Clean lines. No boxy Michelin-man vibes; it has a simple, flattering shape that layers over a sweater. Fit & feel • True to size for a regular fit over a tee or light knit. If you plan on chunky sweaters, consider sizing up. • The shell feels smooth and doesn’t snag easily; the lining slides over sleeves without a fight. Warmth & weather • Great for cool to moderately cold days, especially if you’re moving around. • Handles light drizzle fine, but this is not a raincoat; in steady rain you’ll want a shell on top. • In sub-freezing temps, add a warm base layer or fleece and you’re good for errands or commuting. Details that matter • Zipper runs smoothly and doesn’t jam on the chin thanks to the little guard at the top. • Pockets are in a comfortable spot and deep enough for phone/keys; hand-warming approved. • The quilting keeps insulation in place—no cold spots so far. Good to know • “Ultra light” means not a heavy expedition parka. If you need all-day warmth below freezing while standing still, this isn’t that jacket. • Packability depends on how you fold it; some listings include a pouch, some don’t. It still compresses easily into a backpack pocket. • If you’re between sizes and broad-shouldered, size up for shoulder room. Bottom line A simple, well-cut, hooded puffer that’s easy to live in: warm for its weight, travel-friendly, and flattering. If you want a mid-length everyday jacket you can wear three seasons and forget about until you need it—this is exactly that. Review: Great decision for winter - I wanted a near knee length coat for winter that was lightweight and warm enough for morning winter walks. This coat allows for layering, covers you from winter winds, has a hood, is loose fitting, keeps me warm, is extremely light weight, and doesn't make me sweat. I liked it enough that I have two colors. Fits true to size. No trainer. I have not washed it yet. The zipper was a little sticky at first so I rubbed a bar of soap on the teeth which easily solved it.

Nice Coat!
I was presently surprised by this coat. It was very warm, but also very lightweight. It was larger than expected, and I could have sized down, but time did not permit. Packing is a dream & the hood is removable. I do wish it had some sort of lightweight lining....

Lightweight, warm, easy coat
Good coat, lightweight and not bulky but definitely keeps you warm and blocks the wind. I wish there were snap buttons as well as the zipper option.

Disappointed
Loved everything about this....style, design, color, weight & removable hood BUT the zipper does not work. Very disappointed and will return.

Zipper a bit touchy
I like the color and fit. The zipper has issues starting the zip but once you get it started it’s fine. But since this is listed as packable there should either be a pocket on the inside that you stuff the jacket into or at the very least a bag the same color that you pack it into. That’s what makes it packable. Because any jacket can be packed.

Lightweight and very packable
Really really lightweight and very packable. I'm keeping it because it's the right length and I have room to wear layers as needed. It's just about down to my knees and that's what I wanted.

Best coat ever!
This is a GREAT coat! In fact, it is the warmest coat I own, even considering my heavier coats - it’s the down. My heavier coats have poly fill and it just cannot compete with down. This coat is so thin and lightweight, you hardly feel the weight of it on your body, and yes, it packs down super small for traveling. It is true to size. I bought a second one in black so I could match it with any outfit. And I actually bought a 3rd one just to keep in my car. The fabric looks and feels delicate, but it has held up like a boss for years, despite daily use all winter long. I just can’t say enough. Best coat I’ve ever owned.
