We purchased this for our 8yr old granddaughter because she loves building Lego and creative play. The quality is excellent and instructions very clear, which is what is to be expected of Lego.

Can't go wrong with Lego. Easy to follow instructions, fair size, fun for all ages and always great quality. 10/10.

My grandson is a LEGO addict and chose this as one of his Christmas presents. He spent Christmas afternoon building it. He loves it!

This is a really impressive set with some excellent play features.The set arrives in a fairly large box. Inside are 5 numbered bags of pieces and instruction books. There's also a sheet of stickers that you'll need for various parts of the construction.This is a really nice build. Not too difficult. Getting the stickers on straight is the main challenge! The crime lab truck itself is really solid, and it's been really well thought out. There's hardly a wasted piece of space in the whole thing, and there are lots of nice features that really add to the playability.The side flips up to reveal the interior crime lab area, with screens and computers. There's even a coffee machine! Sadly, you can't store any figures inside, as when it closes down, there's very little space left. It's really well designed to maximise the available surface areas.The front of the truck cab lifts off so you can fit a couple of miniatures inside. There's a prisoner holding area at the back with a ramped door. There's also a storage area just behind the cab where you store the accessory crate.Nicely, there are a couple of additional mini builds - an ATV/quad bike and a crime scene. The crime scene area uses some brand new fence parts, which is good to see. There's also a nice wanted poster, which is a printed block.The five included minifigs are all really nice, with some good on-body printing and an alternate face on one of them.The set took just over 2 hours to put together, including some brick knolling. There's very little repetition, so it's a pleasant build. I'd like to have seen more printed parts rather than relying on stickers, but I guess it keeps costs down. Aside from that, I can't really criticise this set. It's good value, a joy to build and has great playability once constructed. A really nice addition to Lego's every expanding City range.
