Some of the insects I look for like dragonflies and damselflies have mostly aquatic lifestyles. This is a great tool for kids and grownups to use when dip netting. I have used this many times and it is very nice. A bit small but it works well. I like the small size for it keeps you from getting massive amounts of algae and things in your water buckets. I dip net with kids and other groups in what I do and I never leave home with out it. You never know when you might want to poke around for a few scuds, a few water fleas, water scorpions, and other cool aquatic arthropods. Nature tools are the best and if you are into aquatics you don't have to have some of those big nets that will collect all the sticks and muck that you can hardly rifle through. These work just as fine. I would add you might want to add a wrist band on these puppies for I was doing a research project in a river and I almost lost it. Luckily the river was still in the area I was in and I found it. Yeah... talk about a close shave of losing a neat tool. Review: Durable fish net, but could be more flexible - This aquarium fish net is a sturdy and reliable tool for catching and transferring fish. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the netting is soft, which is gentle on the fish. It’s the perfect size for a variety of tanks and works well for scooping out debris, too. However, I find the net itself a bit too rigid, which can make it challenging to maneuver in tight spaces. It would be great if the net had more flexibility for easier use. Overall, it’s a decent fish net that does the job, but a more flexible design would be beneficial.

Great for small tanks and fish
Really great for my 5 gallon fish tank and guppies. Was specifically looking for something small and this is just the right size. I like that it has a long handle and can reach the bottom without my hand getting wet. The mesh can be a bit stiff at times and I have to shake it very hard to get the smaller fish out but still good quality and I would definitely recommend

Handy little net for daily aquarium use
I picked up this aquarium fish net a few weeks ago, and it’s been great for routine tank maintenance. The net is the perfect size for my 10-gallon tank and feels lightweight but sturdy. It’s gentle enough for moving small fish without stressing them out, and it also works well for removing debris or uneaten food. The handle is comfortable to hold, though I wish it was just a bit longer for deeper tanks. Overall, it’s a reliable and affordable tool for any aquarium owner. Definitely a must-have if you’re keeping fish regularly!

Effective for cleaning
This is an exact replacement of small nets I've been using to clean out my fountain and to snag leaves, etc from my hot tub. They are long lasting and easy to empty. All I needed.

Great Value
These nets are awesome! Tiny, but durable, and they hold a lot of whatever you're using it for. I use it for catching algae between rocks of our pond. I would order again in a heart beat!

Better for small fish, not Betta
I intended for this net to be used for my Betta fish, and I have been successful in using it on him multiple times but every single time I am afraid of harming him. The net length is very short so unless I trap him against the glass there's essentially no way to entrap him with the net. I would not recommend using this on any fish larger than a Betta. The short netting and the flimsiness of it is a major liability for the safety of certain fish. Probably best used for minnows.

Good fish net
Sturdy and good to use. I dont have a heavy fish (I have a betta) but you could definitely lift a chunky thing with this net. It had a thread hanging out but that's easy to just cut off.

It is not for picking up fish
The most important thing that I bought is strong material and can pick up tiny fish food.
