Make sure your scissors are sharp!
I'm doing a thing where I'm trying to learn authentic Mexican cuisine, and I was very excited (but nervous) to make empanadas for the first time. I found these (obviously) and decided to give them a try, vs the cookbook author's recommendation to cut up a freezer bag. These are a material similar to the old plastic shopping bags (think Wal Mart) and they have just enough static that they stuck right to my cast iron tortilla press. It took me a few times (reminder: very first time I ever did this) to figure out the amount of pressure and where to put my dough ball, and these liners are a huge part of my success with a "dough ball here" circle in the center and and lines showing size.Incredibly easy to use even without the directions, and well worth the money for something that will last a long time because the liners are reusable. The only issue I had was my scissors not being sharp enough to cut out the liners, which is because my scissors are dull and not because of the liners. They fully covered my 8" tortilla press with room to spare, and my empanada dough (masa harina + water + salt) barely stuck at all (I don't plan on doing flour tortillas at the moment). This product made learning something new much, much easier than it would have been without. Highly recommend, and I will absolutely buy more when the time comes.

Easy and Durable
This is such a simple product. But it looks great and works well. The pack comes with five liners. But a single liner has lasted me through half a dozen or more uses so far with no signs of wear.I'm using the press liner with the Masienda press. It will generally stay in place, but if the top half slips, a drop of water on the back will keep it from moving. After use I brush the liner off with my hand and leave it in the press for next time. Easy as it gets.A Ziploc bag works fine too. But these are a little easier to cut and work with. For the price, why not give it a shot?

Cut to the right side wipe them down use them over and over
You wanna buy these if you don’t want problems pressing your tortillas and peeling the paper off works great.

Thin as can be
I would not buy this again it is so thin you would be better off using a plastic bag you get at the store or just a baggie.

Best liner for your tortilla press
I make tortillas everyday and was using parchment paper before I gave these a try and they are far superior. They are very sturdy and will last for weeks of daily use if you wipe them down when you are finished. They also don't draw moisture out of the tortilla like parchment paper does.

Thinner than I hoped it would be. I wanted to thinner tortillas from my press

Save your money
They work but the plastic is thin. Not much thicker than plastic wrap. I tried using a thicker quart freezer bag and cutting two sides. It worked much better at a small fraction of the cost. This is definitely not worth the cost of the item.

Works really well
I tried parchment paper and zip lock bag method, but I had problems getting the masa to release. These liners release the masa perfectly.
