Easy fitting, good sound, solid connection
After weighing my options for Helmet audio, I decided on this unit. The price was considerably less than other brands on the market yet seemed to have many positive reviews with a feature set that seemed ideal for my use case.I was mostly interested in phone connection for answering calls, GPS instructions, and the occasional audiobook or music track. None of my friends ride so had no opportunity to test the intercom.First up fitting was a breeze and it installed into my HJC i90 in around 15 mins. The boom mic works great for the modular helmet. Speakers and boom are secured with 3m velcro style adhesive patches that fit under the helmets removable cushions. There are many options for velcro pad attachments provided so it was easy to customise placement to my needs. I used the provided clamp with additional rubber mounting pads for the Bluetooth module which proved to be quite secure. No shifting on the helmet when pressing buttons. With the unit installed, pairing wass quick and simple with my android device. Test calls proved that the mic was clear and I could hear the person on the other end with no issues. Music quality was good and even at 60mph I could hear notes clearly. Would recommend still using ear plugs as this always helps with wind noise.Overall, very pleased with the product.

Very Impressive intercom
If you aren't bothered for reading all I could say about these wee units then this should be sufficient. I ride a Harley, it's pretty loud, and I wear earplugs, but with my Mrs on the back, we can still talk and hear each other up to about 60mph when wind noise starts to intrude. So positives, I bought the twin pack and I thought this was very good value for two sets under £150.The fitting instructions were clear ( print is a bit small in the manual!...maybe it's an age thing?) and I was impressed with the amount of stickies, pads, velcro pads and fittings to fit your headset to any helmet. In fact I have two helmets I use regularly and I was able to find enough bits to mostly fit a set to either helmet with minimal ripping things apart. The devices paired with our phones with no issue and up to about 50mph I can listen to music pretty clearly and Sat Nav audio also works acceptably. I suspect most people with full-face helmets and quieter exhausts will find things much more audible up to maybe motorway speeds but as I say my bike is fairly loud so it does drown it out a wee bit for me. Much above 50 I can maybe tell what a song is based on the beat or wee snatched sounds but it's not like listening to music.Negatives- few really, getting the mic to work with my modular helmet so it works with the face open or closed has been a bit tricky, but I think I have solved that now by fitting the boom mic inside the ear space and feeding the boom behind the lining. Battery life seems almost limitless, its never indicated anything other than fully charged. The buttons are a little tricky to use with gloved hands ( but so far I have only been wearing heavier gloves due to the time of year, I suspect in my summer gloves they will be fine). Very pleased though and can recommend++++++Update October 2022+++++++So I have used this set a lot since purchase and am very happy with performance, battery life is brilliant, I have on occasions forgotten to turn it off after use and a full days use and got a further day out it afterwards. Everything I said based on initial use, stands. However, main reason for this update is I somehow managed to damage the cable that connects the speakers to the unit. It wasn't a defect in the kit, it was clearly something I did, but one speaker stopped working and I traced it back to a tiny little nick in one of the wires where the connection cable becomes three wires bonded together. I contacted Lexin to ask if I could buy a connection set to fix it. Despite the fact I told them this was entirely my fault they insisted on sending me a new set of speakers cables and connection parts from the US so I could get it all going again. Exceptional Customer service.

All you need!
I have to admit that I was a little worried about parting with £149 on a set of intercoms, but I can honestly say that its money well spent. The intercom feature is brilliant! I regularly have my boy as pillion and its great, none of those silly hand signals anymore lol. Very easy to install and setup, I was particularly pleased with the two types of mic included as my boys helmet is open face sort of (Shark drax) and the boom mic works better, while mine being a full face has the little discrete mic stuck inside the chin guard area. Great for music having plenty of volume, speakers could have a little more bass, but thats a personal preference. Overall very happy though.

Great value for money
I bought this set mainly as a link to my Garmin Zumo XT satnav for verbal directions rather than as a means of communication or to play music etc. The set was very easy to fit to my HJC C70 helmet (there are also plenty of videos on YouTube if needed). It pairs without fuss and connected to both my SatNav and phone on the first attempt. I didn't buy this for playing music but I did try out the FM radio function and the sound quality is reasonable, the reception is OK but did break up occasionally. Whilst I have only been using this for a few days I would say that overall it is very good value for money and does exactly what I needed it to do.

Best bang for your buck!!
So I originally purchased a GTX model for myself when I first got a new helmet. Worked pretty well but didn't really like it when it connected to my bike and my phone at the same time. Small issue and it didn't really notice after I worked through it. So I decided to try their better lines.I bought this first MTX dual pack for the wife and kiddo and installed them right after Christmas. Mesh radio is pretty outstanding. Click one button to activate and join a channel and it's almost like talking on the phone. Super clear long range highly impressed there. Battery life is ridiculously long. Volume, if you can get the speakers position correctly, is outstanding. If you're having problems with volume you need to move the speakers inside your helmet to be closer to your ear. These come with the big boy speaker so they're a good size and loud. If you have the speaker pockets in your helmet they fit perfectly there. The x-lite helmet didnt have pockets so I had to play woth speaker position a bit on that helmet.I have these installed on a Shoei RF-1400, HJC RPHA 11 Pro, and an X- Lite X-803 RS ultra carbon race replica helmet. All installed pretty easily. My only gripe the size of the double-sided tape mount. It could have been a little bigger. The one on a GTX was perfect. Plenty of mount options so if that doesn't pan out I can always choose something else. Others have raved about the magnetic mount If you need to switch helmets easily. I won't be switching units around as I bought enough units for all my helmets. If you got everything set up correctly you'll have a flawless setup. Plenty loud at any speed. If you're still having volume issues adjust those speakers inside your helmet. If you're looking to support the Little guy and aren't really a fan of the cardos or the Sena's... And don't want to spend $400 on a headset. This is going to be your jam. Hands down the best bang for your buck for features loudness clarity and quality.Support was helpful with any issues I had. And they stand behind their product which is a must for me.Update. Couple months into use... Still works perfectly. Volume is loud AF at any speed. No glitches to speak of. So happy I went with Lexin and not Cardo or Sena!

MfG, Felix
