This is a great-looking, sturdy helmet and I was really happy with it until I noticed a tag inside of it that said "Not for under 12." I'm assuming there must be lead or some other child-unfriendly substance involved. That was a bummer, because I had ordered it for my 5-year-old who would have loved it. There was no mention of an age limit anywhere when I purchased it. I sent it back and ordered a fleece "knight helmet" from a popular crafty website that's safe for my young dragon-slayer. This helmet would be perfect for teen or adult costumes, though.

First, this helmet is very good quality for such a low price. This is thick, sturdy plastic and it's well-made; it also looks very realistic. The face shield lifts up nicely and stays up if you want to wear it that way. The rivets holding it on are nice and tight and are of good quality.As for size, I'm not sure this will fit most adults unless they have a really small head. It's definitely on the small side for adults...it does technically go on my husband's head (he has a small head for a man), though it won't actually sit down on his head all the way. Thus, it's a little too short for my him (his chin--and his beard--show at the bottom). In the pics, he's the one with the beard, and the gold trim along the bottom is just barely covering his mouth.It fits me the same way—my head fits inside it but it won't sit down all the way on my head.I actually bought the helmet for my 8 yr old son and it fits him with room to spare (it's a tiny bit too big, but not so big he can't wear it and see out of the eye holes). In the pics, he's the kid with the black shirt.Finally, my 11 1/2 yr old son finds that it fits him perfectly—not too big nor too small. In the pics, he's the kid with the gray shirt.

I bought this helmet as a gag gift for my son because he really wanted a real helmet that he saw at a gift shop when we visited London. The real helmet in the gift shop was ridiculously priced so we told him no. Fast forward to Christmas and I managed to find a real helmet on Ebay but I wanted to give him a plastic one as a gag. I had him open it and told him that it was all we could get him within the Christmas budget and to my surprise he was really happy. He was genuinely pleased with this helmet! It looks cool and has a flip up visor, it's great for $10. He did finally open his real helmet and went crazy! He still likes this one as well though, him and his friends play with both. You can't go wrong with this helmet, especially for the price!

I purchased this as a birthday gift for a 7 yr old. I was a little weary of the size being too big and how well it might hold up but he insisted that this was the one he wanted. When it arrived I was very pleased with the quality, it feels very sturdy and is well made. Although it is plastic it does not have that cheap plastic look. When he opened it as his party he was so excited and immediately put it on and although it is a little big for him he is still able to see well, He even wore it while playing on the blow up slide so he was given the name Knight of the blow up slide, other adults at the party asked where I got it and will be ordering for their little ones. Sizing is a tad big but works fine, sturdy plastic with great detail, the face part lifts easily and the price is very reasonable, Very pleased with my purchase.

If cotton masks are protective then this medieval helmet should really send it packing!!I wore it to the liquor store the other day and they all had a good laugh. But on the inside of this bad boy I was the one chuckling. With only two small slits for the eyes there is no place for the virus to get in through. Just make sure you close your eyes if you do happen to see some of the virus coming at them.

My son’s already worn this on four or five different occasions within the past few weeks, with and without his Halloween costume. It’s sturdy, well built and designed, with a comfortable fit that stays on. Our only complaint is that the paint from the gold trim is flaking off, but that’s not completely unexpected. It’s still a great product that I recommend and would buy again.

Not quite sure which "men" this is supposed to fit. I bought it for my son and it fits him fine and He's a small child. Face shield split in the middle after maybe a dozen or so openings. I had to epoxy it back together. I used a heat gun to heat up the plastic around the hinges. Once softened, I opened the face shield up to the upright position and allowed to cool. Now it no longer has to stretch and flex in order to get around the helmet portion. Hasn't ripped again yet.

I was pleased with the quality. Seems sturdy enough to last a bit, even with my 5 yr old son. It is a weird size though, not big enough for an adult bit too big for a child. Maybe a teen? Also the metal pins holding the visor on kept pulling my sons hair so we simply glued a small piece of fabric over them. Voila! Perfect. Definitely will compliment his Halloween costume.
