Worth the cost
I really did not expect much from this product honestly, but was surprised that it was actually worth the seemingly outrageous cost. As long time aquarium enthusiast, my spouse and I have mounted many a background, usually with tape or the like and less than stellar results. This product resulted in a gorgeous, bubble free, vivid color background thoroughly adhered to the aquarium glass. What can I say? Never to old to learn a new trick. Recommended.

It works, directions are vague
Worked great for the most part, background looks great. Just use the whole bottle...or most of it. I started with a layer, then had to remove and apply the rest on my 30 gal. Using the whole bottle in the first place would have saved a lot of time. This is not a 10 min project, I spent upwards of 45 min removing the bubbles, but it looks great. It makes quite the mess when you squeeze the lubricant(?) out the sides to remove the bubbles, but it's not too difficult to clean up. Seems like it's not to difficult to remove but a bit of a cleaning project.

Maybe I got a bad batch or something, didn't work so great
Maybe I did something wrong but I don't see how I could have messed it up. Unless the background you are putting on your tank is completely flat, this will not hold it down. I used heat, and rubbed for probably about 20 mins, it still wouldn't hold down a very small curl at each corner.

Not to good
I have 2 big areas that my aquarium background is no longer attached to the glass. So now i have to drain a lot of water out (60 gallon aquarium) to be able to move the tank to replace the background.

Great adhesive!
The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it arrived broken and leaky. Helps the background stick very nicely, the scraper worked good and it didn’t smell or get stuck on my hands or anything. Very easy to use. Makes background very clear and vibrant.

Came leaking even in a vacuum sealed package
Horrible ruined my background yuck! No internal seal was leaking and inside vacuum seal there was debris! Disgusting

Not impressed
Became leaking. Sounds like it’s a common problem. Fought with the background for 20 mins but it kept try to roll up and move around. Product is very oily. I’ll be sticking with good old tape from now on.

Leaking upon arrival
I just got it, looks like it is leaking in the vacuum sealed bag I have no instructions and not sure how to use.Not sure if this is going to work since I not might not have enough due to leaking and not instructions.
