Absolutely fantastic! This is the one to get.
I bought nearly every 4090 laptop and returned them all. THIS was the overall winner. The lighting effects are something I didn't think I would enjoy this much but no one compares to Razer when it comes to keyboard lighting effects. Individual lights and the wider array of color should be the standard. The screen is rich and saturated like a Samsung laptop if that's something that is important to you. Battery life sucks of course cause its a gaming laptop duh. The fans aren't annoyingly loud at full blast like others I've tried. I spent a year and went through around 10 laptops and decided on this. Wait for a renewed version and saved $1500 to take the edge off the price. Its worth it.

I enjoy my Razer
Works great, but heat is an issue so I bought the Razer Cooling pad and that fixed the heat issues. Its a solid system, no major problems, I did a bunch of upgrades myself upgraded ram from 32 to 64 and nvme from 2 tb to 4tb by adding a second 2tb nvme, upgraded Windows 11 home to Windows 11 Pro because I'm a com sci guy. Battery life for regular things is good , battery life for gaming off the adapter you get an hour lol or less lol. The system is quiet for the most part until you start to do things like me(run LLMs locally, many tabs in chrome(I'm a com sci guy so I mean many!), test software lol) , the fans will spin up for games but it won't take away from your enjoyment of the games you play, so noise level is ok. Get the cooling pad from Razer it makes no sense spending your hard earn cash and let your system cook the cooling pad is a must. I have had it a year now so I can say its great no regrets on my purchase.

Nope - dont buy here.
Total rip off. Machine did not perform even close to Spec. Battery life was less than an hour.

Best laptop I've ever had
This is about my 12th laptop... I'm an older software developer who general prefers gaming/desktop-replacement laptops so I can do most of my work on the road including running demanding simulators and gaming software at acceptable frame rates. Anyway, I've had a few. This is the best one I've ever had! The build quality and design rivals Apple. The performance is stellar. With the mobile 4080, I can even run most games in 4K at over 120FPS. 1440 is >300FPS all day. The fans are a bit noticeable when under load, a bit higher pitched than I am used to, but acceptable and nothing unexpected. The keyboard tactile feedback/feel is not great, that is really the only con I have on this. A bit more travel and switch sensitivity would be better. I got the 16", because most ~17"-18" laptops are huge and unwieldy to travel with. But this is so efficiently designed, that I would have been happy with even the 18" as a travel laptop and it probably would fit in most backpacks too. The 16" is extremely mobile and is roughly the same size dimensions as my old Dell XPS 15. Well done Razer, well done nVidia.

Great Hardware and Quality, Software presets needs QA testing
Razer is like the Apple of laptops. Great quality with design and function but, software with other companies need to be tested before sale. At first I thought my speakers were defective, but in the synapse software I remember Razer had this issue with their headsets. Reduce "Noise Normalization" as that will reduce the crackling sound. This is an issue with THX and Razer. As the default preset are attended for general demos. Less of negative is that the product is still a finger print magnet. If you like putting skins or sticker this isn't an issue and the touchpad is huge. Now the good things about this 2024 version, the OLED screen is beautiful, artist will love this screen. Best selling point for an upgrade. Software not bad, it knows how to reduce certain functions automatically when unplugged. and even on balance mode plugged in it is quiet. Beware the metal body of the laptop is also a cooling method for Razer laptops and will get hot. The 4080 is a reasonable purchase than the 4090 for plugin performance as the is minimal compared to the desktop. For on the go performance a 4070 will be ok as the battery is the same for all can't handle long anything above. Overall it is a safe expensive investment for gamers and creator on the go, with downtime to sit.

Buy it, if you can comfortably afford it.
I am probably not the target audience for this laptop since I rarely play video games, the only game I have played on it is FF7 Remake. The design is awesome, screen is very vibrant (reason why I decided to upgrade), sound, and build quality is excellent. I would not recommend to anyone who would have to pick between this laptop and their yearly vacation or forego necessities, it is definitely a want and not a need. This year's Zephyrus G16 does the same for a $1000 less ($500 now that it's on sale), so it's definitely more about the aesthetic of this laptop if you are considering purchasing.

Laptop is great
Laptop is powerful and it is feels. Under load the front panel below the screen is heats up stronger. But cooling system copes with everything. Touchpad shall be do differently. When you will be printing you often will be accidentally touching with your hand, and it will be changing text pointer to random place and it annoying. But it can be "fixed" via disable "Tap with a single finger to single-click" option in Touchpad system settings. And therefore, the touchpad should be like on MacBook with full clickable space and not only in the lower part. Sometimes after you close the lid and move the laptop to sleep state it continues some intensive work for a while. It noticeable by intensified cooling system. Maybe it Windows 11 peculiarity. Sometimes after it went from sleep state you will get strange periodically screen freezes is about 1.5 - 2 seconds during some time. During these freezes some anomaly behavior in task manager is not found. It's very strange and unusual especially after macOS and Ubuntu use experience for a long time. But I'm sure the freezes have nothing to do with hardware and this is solely a system and software problem and may be to do with my settings changes.

I’m so excited when receiving the item but when I unpacked I noticed that it was been opened, so I look over all around the unit it was ok no scratches or dents, then I started to setup but it was took me around an hours to get it started, then after the windows started I noticed that the touchpad not working, can’t connect to wifi, no battery icon, and also when I unplug the power adapter the laptop shutdown right away, I call Amazon customer service then end up returning it, so disappointed when you spent almost 6k but you get the defective item.
