i got this back in march and i have not had a single problem with other then the sound cutting out for a spit second. the touch screen needs a little improvements is kind of slow. other then those it a grate radio. it got my 2002 mercury grand marquise to the modern days and makes the interior nice

UPDATED review. i was contacted by the seller and stated they would offer a replacement which i gladly accepted. they asked me to supply pictures of my console with the order # and send them to an email address outside of amazon which i was not comfortable with nor did i know why they would need me to do so. they contacted me again asking for pictures so i could get the right unit for our vehicle so i provided pictures in my reply now several days later i have not received a response that was the last i heard from them. unit did not come with any mounting hardware but Bench tested and radio seemed to work so carried on with install. After initial install usb didnt work, mirror link didnt work and BT had a loud buzz during calls. i tried 2 different aftermarket install kits and neither one worked, radio was too big for both and mounting holes on the sides of the unit didnt line up on either one. There was also a fault in the wiring along with the speaker wire colors not matching the instructions and the 12v constant and ignition wires were both 12v constant so no way to turn the unit off without having to reset everything after hooking it up again. very disappointed i was really looking forward to using this radio.

This is the 2nd of these I bought.1st point: If you are getting this for the Mirror feature on an Android phone look carefully it is unlikely this will work with your phone.2nd point: It is clear this has FM radio, it DOES NOT have AM..This disappointed when I bought my 1st one, but for the price I can live w/o AM radio.Other issues: It has 3 FM bands, you can store plenty of stations; be aware, if you hit the "autoscan" button it will write over ALL of you saved stations.The radio does NOT come with the necessary 5mm bolts needed to install it.These issues (and the loose part I discuss later) made me derate from 5 stars, but it does earn 4 stars based on:One of the features I considered a must have is a rotary dial for volume control (I'm old school and like this feature).The touchscreen is intuitive, and functions pretty well. That said it is almost impossible to use while driving.. the steering wheel remote works very well while driving, and for me is indispensable.The instructions ask you to test it first before installing it..Cautioning it has "traveled a long way" This Is GREAT advice.. Before I hooked power to it I noticed a rattling sound ?? I opened it up and there was a loose metal piece, looks like a heat shield.. in the plastic bag there were 2 loose screws.. I put it all back together and all is fine the power on test is satisfactory.The unit is supposed to use the " factory" steering wheel buttons, I was not able to make this work, it is me, my trucks wiring or something else, who knows. anyway the unit comes with a steering wheel mounted remote.. it works great (just as it does on teh one I bought a year earlier in my other truck).The unit comes with a back-up camera, The one I installed on my other truck the B/U camera display works as it should.. I have yet to install the camera on this one.The seller sent me an email, offering support, with an additional (digital) installation manual.. As I implied above it comes with a PAPER instruction book.In summary:Would I buy it again.?. YES, I actually didIt is a high end unit? NO, but at the price I bought the first one I considered it a bargain, a year later, when I saw Amazon had it on sale for 1/2 what I previously paid I bought another, for my "older" winter duty only truck.Even though I do not seek support, the seller offered.It DOES have good FM reception, plays any of my MP3 files from a micro SD "chippy" I installed, connects to my phone via bluetooth.

While the features of this radio are overall nice and all the other functions work, the FM tuner is absolute trash. On my old radio I had no static on the stations I listened on. With this radio, I have static almost all of the time on all stations.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I’ve now ran into a new issue that may just be on my unit, but regardless, it’s there. I installed this radio near the end of summer so it was warm, now that it’s getting cooler, everytime the temp gets about below 60 degrees, I no longer have sound until it warms back up but that normally takes about an hour. So my entire 30 minute drive to work is just silence.For as cheap of a radio this is, it works. But I can not recommend it. The mount holes do not line up properly with my dash kit and because the unit is so shallow there aren’t options to mount the radio anymore forward, so it sits recessed inside my dash and none of my bezels will fit to fill in the gap once the mounting brackets are installed. I didn’t get the steering wheel controls like are listed. No screws included to mount the radio to brackets. I get a static pop when adjusting volume knob.What’s good about it is it’s a working touchscreen radio with a dial for volume that will work with radio stations and Bluetooth.But I would honestly look at spending a few more dollars for a different head unit.
