Will repurchase
Purchased because of so many great reviews across the web...Have been using Maybelline Superstay and was very pleased with all but it's wear time (I work 15 hour shifts and don't like to touch-up).It was easy enough to match my skinton, but I am pretty pink. The previous review is correct, not too much in the way of yellow undertones in any of these, just neutral and pink.I also applied with the stippling method, and you do have to work very quickly in one area at a time. You'll probably even want to split your forehead and cheeks each into two sections. I poured about 1/2 a dime-sized amount onto a clean flat surface and used firm bronzer-type brush to stipple. I have mostly even texture with purple-hued acne scarring. This coverage was great. I did not experience any chalkiness since I had such an easy time matching my color. I set it with powder and then went over that with my homemade version of Fix+.So, it was about 90-100 degrees here yesterday. I applied it at 6pm, then had my bachelorette party pub crawl. Everywhere we went was hot and sticky and gross, then I came home and fell into bed. It is now about 10am and my makeup actually looks like I just put it on! (I know, I'm sad I forgot to wash my face...) The Maybelline Superstay would never sick around that long. Even regular, non-strenuous work on a moderately warm day would have it sliding around, even with a primer.I would definitely recommend this, even if you're slightly on the sensitive side as I am. If your skin is dry, probably go with something else, but try it if you have $13 you don't mind gambling with...(only 4 stars since you have to work so fast and in such small patches at a time)

long lasting, chalky
This makeup comes in a generously sized glass bottle with a screw top lid. The jar has a narrow opening - it's big enough for a Q-Tip but too small for most brushes, save for a small concealer brush perhaps. The product is a fairly thick liquid - it's not runny but it isn't anywhere near a cream texture. It does not contain oil.The colors come in neutral and pink tones. I didn't see much for yellow based undertones, but most complexions would be fairly served by the neutral tones. I'm quite pale and went with the lightest color which is Ivory. This is supposed to be for normal to dry skin. My skin is normal to oily combination, but I'd heard in other reviews that there wasn't much difference between the two formulations and I'd have to agree. If you're quite dry or have flaky skin you will want to avoid this product.Application is tricky, it dries fast so you have to blend quickly. Just apply to one area of the face at a time - don't try to swirl it all over and then go back to blend. I used the MAC 187 and 188 stippling brushes. I only stippled, I did not brush the makeup around. Perhaps I should have because the coverage was full which is ok, but it looked quite chalky. I didn't dare use any powder to set the foundation because it looked quite powdery on its own.Performance was very good. I wore this all day including a 2 hour stint in the kitchen over some steamy pots and pans and this makeup didn't budge. It washed off easily enough with my usual foaming cleanser. It was quite difficult to remove from my makeup brushes. I had to use oil to dissolve the residue.Overall this is a good foundation for someone with oily skin who needs full coverage and long lasting wear and who is willing to apply the product with a foundation brush or a sponge.
