This item does exactly what it says,my other half stood right next to his car with the key inside this pouch and it would not open the car at all,i bought two and would recommend these for RFID blocking.UpdateI originally gave this 5 stars but now 02/06/17,this now does not block a signal? I originally could not start my car if the fob was in this pouch as I got a message 'key not found' but now I can actually start my car with the fob inside the pouch! Not sure why it has stopped doing what it is supposed to as it has not been washed,wet or anything else. Hugely disappointing as I thought it was great to start with.

Had no problems with this wallet. After 6 months it is still working ok for me. Tried it inside the car and the car couldn't detect the key. I keep the wallet on my mantelpiece and when I get home I put the key inside. Spare key is kept inside a metal document safe.

Works very well, put the keys to my new Discovery in it and even standing next to the car the doors will not open so the shielding works as stated.

Don't waste your money. Bought this in May and it worked fine until December at which point it then suddenly lost the ability to block the key signal. I can have the key securely in it walk straight up the car and open it up. The pouch has no damage visible on it and has only be used in the house. This seems to be a recurring trend based on the other reviews.

Works really well. Not too big, I can fit a small bunch of keys in. Really pleased.Update. Was brilliant when first purchased a few months ago but now no longer works.
