A remarkeable value for an iPad Case!
I skipped past this case a few times over concerns about the quality. For this price (definitely on the lowend for iPad cases), and with these features - I just assumed it was probably poor quality.I was WRONG! This may just be the best value you will find shopping for iPad cases. The case fits the iPad Pro perfectly and feels substantial & sturdy. It probably provides more protection than your old case did. Even the charger port and headphone jack have covers on them -- easy to open and get out of the way if you need access but keeping out random splashes or dust / sand / dirt / whatever while closed. The whole kickstand / strap assembly is very well designed & works great. The rotation is smooth & the mechanism snaps solidly into place @ 8 different increments along a 360 rotation. The strap may or may not be real leather but it may as well be. it's attractive and seems authentic. If you need more room or you think it needs tightening, it appears to adjust to 3 different lengths (evidently the person complaining it was too loose didn't read this part.)The pencil hides inside the case which results in a slightly WIDER edge to the left. a great place to rest a thumb when not using the strap to hold it one handed, but, this does lead to the cons with this case. 1. It's a little bulky and probably heavier as a result (I haven't noticed either much and they've never been a real problem for me.) 2. The smart connector is completely covered and inaccessible. 3. The built in screen protector needs removing before you use it, most likely -- It may offer a small degree of protection beyond a dedicated screen protector, but I can't imagine anyone would want it. Fortunately, it is easily pulled out from the inside of the case. 4. I have noticed that heat might be a problem -- usually during intensive tasks with the charger connected. It's probably not that big of a deal, but it has been noticeable on a couple of occasions. All in all, having spent 3 or 4 times this much on cases without the strap, kickstand features which I consider to be MUST HAVES (yet seem to be VERY hard to find) -- I am very impressed with this case and HIGHLY recommend it. I will definitely watch for future New Trent products!!

Good protection, easy to hold, great rotating kickstand
I am quite pleased with this ipad air case. It fits fine. The case has a solid feel and seems to offer great protection for drops. I've had not problems with my finger and apple pencil working through the included screen cover. The screen cover is the only thing that I really don't care for though. It feels flimsy, and it gets boldly displays fingerprints. It doesn't bother me so much that I'm going to remove it, but I with that part of the case was different. BTW, the pencil holder has worked great for me so far; the pencil is very secure. It is a bit of pain to slide the case-attachment to the pencil up/off to charge the pencil, but that is a minor inconvenience. I really love the rotating kickstand. it is great to be able to have my ipad sit on a surface in any orientation that I want. The leather strap is comfortable, but it keeps the ipad from lying completely flat on a table/desk, but that has not been a problem so far. Overall, this case seemed to give me the best functionality and protection for my needs and the price is reasonable. It is not perfect, but it is the best I've found.

Pleased so far. Using with a tempered glass screen protector
I have had only limited experience with the New Trent case, but my immediate assessment is favorable. It fits my iPad air perfectly. The outer rubber piece fits around the two plastic "clam shells". This makes a robust, impact resistant assembly. The rear hand strap, fits my hand well and the metal "kick stand" serves it's purpose well. The case is a bit on the bulky side, but that is the trade-off required to achieve the convenience and protection this case offers. One modification I implemented immediately was removal of the plastic film screen protector that is integrated into the front bezel plastic. I knew that I wanted a tempered glass protector since glass is much more scratch resistant and will not create optical fringing. The attached pictures should help make it clear how I removed the film screen protector from the inside of the front plastic bezel. Achieving a beautiful, crystal clear, scratch resistant screen:1) I found it easiest to pick at the film near a top corner of the inside of the bezel2) I then slowly peeled the film out of the plastic, being careful to hold the plastic bezel firmly so it didn't break as I slowly removed the film. After removing the film there is some adhesive stuck to the surface of the plastic.3) Removing the excess adhesive was the most difficult and time consuming process. I attempted to soften the adhesive with alcohol, but found that carefully using a sharp edge to clean the adhesive worked best. (be careful when using any sharp instrument... like a knife. Your personal safety is your responsibility.)4) With the adhesive removed, I installed my iPad in the frame per the New Trent instructions. Note, I had already installed the tempered glass screen protector per the instructions that came with the screen protector. BTW, the glass screen protector I purchased is the "amFilm Glass Screen Protector" here on Amazon. It worked well... I managed to install it on the first try (the kit I purchased comes with two glass sheets).I hope this helps those that have questions about this case and its use with a tempered glass

Quality iPad case with built in pencil storage, leather handle with 360 degree rotating metal stand.
It has a leather handle that you can slide your hand into or carry it. The case seems sturdy as does the adjustable rotating stand. I’m happy with it for the most part. It gives me most of what I wanted.
