Prym218494 Ergonomics Wool Crochet Hook ,White, Dark Violet, 18.5cm 15.00mm

Ok, only had it for a couple of days but I'm in love. I'm working on a super chunky cardigan which called for a 12mm hook and I wasn't too convinced so I decided to move up to 15 since the pattern allowed for them with some light tweaking. Wow, it's so much better. I've been using wooden hooks for years and love them but this hook is so light, smooth and comfy to hold. I worried it might feel flimsy and plasticky but it's an absolute joy to work with. Do yourself a favour and give these a try.

A very ergonomic large hook. I like doing extreme crochet sometimes, using a few strands of super chunky wool held together and crocheted in a spiral, you can make a very comfy seat cushion. I invariably leave them out too often, and this way I can ahppily use up my scraos each year and make a couple more to replace any that are too tired. Look for you tube videos on extreme crochet for hints. This hook is the best Ive found, nice and light despite its size, and grippy thanks to the black rubber criss crosses. Well made with no sharp edges.

I’m fairly new to crochet and so far I’ve just been using the common plastic handle metal hooks. It took a while to get used to the hook size but now that I have it is brilliant and works up really quickly.

I didn't realise the hook itself was plastic which isn't my favourite. But beautifully comfortable in the hand

I used this hook to make a scrap.blanket. I used three strands of dk at a time to make my blanket. I made a double bed size blanket. It worked up fast using this hook. Which felt nice to use with such a big project.

Although very large it is easy to hold. I have arthritis in my index finger and found I was restricted on how long I could use it. Ergonomic design was good

I really like these ergonomic Prym hooks as I have arthritis in my fingers & wrists (& just about everywhere else!) and have been struggling with traditional metal hooks for some time now. I recently purchased the two different sets of 5 hooks that are available & have been quite astounded by the difference I feel using them so decided to complete them by buying this one & the 3mm as well.Now, all that would make them better, as far as I am concerned, is if Prym would make more sizes available - a 2.5mm, 2.75mm, 3.25mm, 3.75mm, 4.25mm, 5.5mm, 6.5mm & 7.5mm for instance!

This product is great, crochet for hours and no wrist ache really recommend this brand of hook

Wow! I absolutely love these crochet hooks. Only wish they went up a size or two; 15mm seems to be the largest, and I couldn't find it in any of my local craft stores (all 2 of them). This is very good plastic material with a wonderful slick surface, allowing my yarn to move smoothly and quickly over the hook. The handle grip is outstanding, so comfortable, and the hook is a perfect shape. Everything about this hook is nothing short of outstanding.Only negative about this item is shipping time. It's taking forever to get here.
