This door stopper is such a handy addition to my home, and it looks great too! It’s adjustable, so I can set it to hold the door exactly where I want, and it stays in place perfectly. I love that there are no magnets involved—it just works smoothly every time. It was easy to install, and now I don’t have to worry about doors slamming shut anymore. Overall, it's a stylish and effective solution for keeping doors open, and it gets the job done without any hassle. Definitely recommend!

We had a very minor hiccup with our order. The folks here responded immediately to fix the issue. The product itself works wonderfully and is gorgeous. I was honestly surprised at the quality of the materials as well. Way nicer than I was expecting. Easy installation, magnet works super well.

Door mount is loose, half the time it doesn’t catch and when it does it pops right out of the floor retainer. Lengthen the adjustment rod and it just bottoms out. Gave up after 4 attempts to get it to function properly. Typical overseas junk.

Currently when the garage door opens, if someone swings it too wide, it would hit the dryer. HOOFUS Mechanical Floor Door Stopper works wonderfully to stop that from happening.

This is an update from my original review below. The seller reached out to me when they saw my review. I had an ssue with the first one I ordered and requested a replacement and then the second didn't work. The seller wanted to see if I would want to give their product another try and they sent a new one at no charge.I installed the one that was sent to me to retry and the tape didn't hold. Apparently it needs to be for 24 hours so the adhesive will take. Unfortunately there are room for error when you mess up with the tape and would need to install with screws, which I didn't want to do. The seller went above and beyond that he ordered new tape sent from China directly to me. I received 4 different type of adhesive, and sent instructions showing how to apply. Even if this didn't work the customer service is stellar.Note: user error. I had been installing incorrectly. Because it was my error, I thought it was the product but if the seller didn't take the time or have the patience to work with me I would have never known it was my error with installing. In my opinion both the product and customer service is great. I would recommend the Hoofus doorstopper and would buy from the seller again."This didn't work as described and advertise, the magnetic wouldn't work to catch."

It's sleek, does what it's supposed to, and I especially like how there's nothing to stub your toes on!Picture a narrow hallway, with a door at the end that opens inward toward you. When the door is not 100% open against the wall, it's too easy to walk right into the edge of the door -- ouch!This gizmo keeps the door open and out of the way when we're passing through, and lets us easily close it when needed.Another one of these keeps a bathroom door open so the cat can get to her water fountain, but you can effortlessly close the door when using the loo.Installing was easy enough using the adhesive for the round pucks (on tile and vinyl plank floors), and screws for the door-mounted pegs.In order to mount the door peg (also to access the peg height adjustment), you'll need a small flathead screwdriver to push in a plastic wedge.When the door is held by the latch, there is a tiny bit of play -- enough to rattle back & forth, but still keeping the door open. I'm 100% ok with this, but it may be helpful to know before you buy.This door latch also contains a spring which can sort-of-dampen a door that's been opened too hard, though it's not great for that. If you slam the door open: it will latch, bounce into the metal ring, unlatch, then gently swing open. So don't slam the door!Significant other was skeptical at first, but after installing the first one they asked for the 2nd :)

Strong adhesive, multiple mounting options, works basically anywhere

The only negative is the sticky patch didn’t hold on the door so had to screw it into the door instead. Other than that it’s been fantastic.

The media could not be loaded. I didn’t understand how this worked, but after installation it became apparent. Sticky label on the top was hard to clean off nicely. I am super impressed and happy with it.
