I went a half size up for some wiggle room- it was a good call! The slit is deep so I have no difficulty squatting/kneeling with my thick calves. It's sewn around the ankle instead of the bridge of your foot so that helps with mobility as well. I walk an average of 10,000 steps a day and my feet feel like they got a hard-core massage instead of swelling and throbbing but that could also be because of the cushioned mesh socks I wear.. which I also recommened to pair with boots so you don't rub holes in your socks. The pads of my feet to the top arch in my foot need more support when wearing these. Also to note, I stand on concrete at work. The leather is durable but breaks in after just a day! It's also hard to roll your ankle in these with the way it's sewn. You won't be disappointed! Just be sure to get gel boot insoles and sturdy crew socks to pair them with.

First time for steel toe boots. So they took some getting used to. They seemed tight. At first. But I love them.

This is a high-quality work boot, extremely comfortable, I’ve had them before. However, I had to return mine because they were not quite big enough. They didn’t have the next size up. Otherwise I would’ve gotten them.

I work in the shipyard on my feet 8hr a day these boots are so uncomfortable never again I prefer no one to get these boots I have to take the pattern out and put my own in still uncomfortable my feet is hurting right now and I got a size up

Was really disappointed with these boots as I'm a big ariat fan and already had several pairs in my closet. I received them on time but shoetly after getting them the soles started coming apart in a weird way. Contacted the seller and they were great,replaced them with no problems. Until i got the second pair. After only wearing the second pair a couple of times it was pretty obvious that they were going to do the same thing. And they did. As far as comfort goes,they were great and easy to break in. And the issue i had, had nothing to do with the seller.It was obviously a problem in the manufacturing process and i don't blame the seller at all. Would recommend ordering from them,will order again in the future myself as they were willing to work with me to fix the issue

These boots are great! It took about a week to break in for comfort and now they’re fantastic. They are high quality and look great I always get compliments on these boots. They are true to size and keep my feet warm even with thinner socks on.

The boots themselves hold up very well! that I love, I've had them almost a year and they have no damage and I work construction. BUT I also have very weak knees and they're very heavy. they really wore down my knees and caused a lot of strain.

I’ve owned three pairs of these Fatbaby boots. I absolutely love them. Treat them before you take them out in the rain though. I also recommend putting your own insoles in them as they don’t offer enough cushion for long work days. Otherwise, they’re great.
