Attractive and easy to put together.
These bar stools are good quality and very easy to put together. x4 bolts to attach the seat base to the pole with a hex key provided. The rest just pushes together. The base is highly polished chrome not plastic but doesn't seem to mark with those grey fingerprints often seen. The leatherette seats are a beautiful aubergine purple and wipe clean with ease. The seat can go as low as a normal sofa or too high for me to sit on without climbing and as I'm 6ft these should do for anyone. They came packed in solid cardboard boxes.

Oops.
Unfortunately this had to be returned as it was too heavyfor the intended user to manoeuvre.No reflection on the design, just a tad weighty!
