To setup the base connect the outlet parts together, plug the black end of the type C to the port then plug the red to the red on the back of the base, then connect (if this applies to you) the USB to your pc and plug the C to the pc port on the base, hit the "recycle" looking buttons until the base says Pc, now your locked in and ready to go, you dont need any fancy apps but the free Dolby access app gives you some tuning options without some dumb subscription requirement like how bmw tried to say "if you want better headlights just buy this digital good for $100 even though the device is already." Anyways, great product, some questionable setup for the price point but worth it. Fun fact the headset has a type C charger so if your miles away from the base or want to keep gaming you can plug while playing and the base actually tells you the device is charging and whay percent your at, now thats Quality of Life.

Decided to try out the A50s after being an avid A40/A40 TR user for a decade (picture included for visual comparison), and I am extremely happily surprised by the quality comparison. Same great comfort, sound quality, and build quality but in seamless wireless form.These, however, have a huge advantage. My A40 TR mixamp had Dolby Digital that always remained off due to a tin can hollow type of sound when on. These come with Dolby Atmos, which is an amazing jump in sound quality and positional accuracy. The app for these is also leagues better and more intuitive than the old Astro Command Center.So many great features to mention like mic quality, charging dock, the auto mute when mic is raised, easy-access controls for audio balance, volume, and audio source, but to keep this short, this is a top of the line wireless gaming headset, and if you have a wired headset like A40s and are worried about a drop in the audio experience, fear not! I’m incredibly happy with my choice to “cut the cord”! Worth the money.

Bought these Feb 23 pretty much exactly three months ago. They worked perfectly fine these last three months and was just using them without issue just last night. Turned them on then launched a game and quickly found out I had no sound. everything appears normal and headset is still shown in logitech app but I did realize the battery indicator on the base station is no longer there upon removing the headset from it. it says in logi app the battery is at 99%. I reset the headset, unplugged the base station for at least an hour and plugged it all back up. still the same issue. I decided to reset the base station from the pc logi app and the base station is now switched to xbox setting which appears to leave the base station completely unreadable by the pc. the playsync button no longer works under any circumstances (on or off stand, Powered on/off, on charge/off charge. after searching with very limited results I decide to download the mobile app as it seems there could be some control there. Was very surprised (not really) to find the Bluetooth button is also bricked and does nothing. I searched the internet for a solution but was unfortunately unable to find one. You should absolutely not have to deal with these problems for the price of this headset. I've had wireless headsets that were a fraction of the cost and lasted much longer with less/no maintenance although they may not have felt as nice. I did try much more troubleshooting than mentioned. I recommend doing yourself a favor and research a different company for a headset.
