When stretched to full length it is a little flimsy

LOVE these. They are well-worth the money
LOVE these. They are well-worth the money. They are sturdy and attractive; I like how you can adjust them to fit the size of the planter. Best of all, there is a metal bar that sticks out which "upholds" it against a fence; it works much like a shelf bracket: no more sagging, tilting forward flower planters!

Attractive and practical, but read the specifications carefully.
It is relatively easy to install, except that not all the screws sent fit! About half of them were too short. I had other screws in storage that I could substitute. that is why I knocked down the rate for "Easy to Install."Pay attention to the width of the holder. I carelessly assumed that it was a bit wider to fit my railing. It "just" fits snugly, but I should have chosen a wider width.

These are perfect for flowerboxes
I had three of these in a house I lived in for a temp project and as soon as I came home I bought three more for home. They are great. I think the folks who write that they seem flimsy haven't actually tried them or didn't install them properly. That said, the installation instructions could be better--wait, I don't think there were any. I use two with short boxes and one with the long box and all are fine. I had originally thought that the brace that goes under the rail was badly positioned since my rails are four inch centers wouldn't allow it through; but then I realized that the brace is there to hold the box level. They work perfectly.

DO NOT BUY - CURRENT USERS BEWARE / REMOVE IT BEFORE A MISHAP.
I bought 2 of these and have 36" planters in both. One of them is perfectly stable and sturdy, but the other one is flimsy and keeps rattling. I was afraid it would fall 4 floors down so I had to tie it with some para cord.————UPDATE: 07/22/16 - ONE MONTH AFTER.MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT I HEAR LOUD SOUND FROM MY BALCONY (3:30AM-NOW), GO OUT TO FIND THAT THE FLIMSY ONE MENTIONED EARLIER IS HANGING BY THE PARACORD (THANKFULLY) AT THE EDGE OF MY BALCONY.EVEN THOUGH THE OTHER ONE LOOKS STABLE AND GOOD, I'M GOING TO REMOVE IT BEFORE IT GETS TO THIS POSITION.

Very sturdy and very attractive.
It's very pretty on my patio railing! Holds my plants which can be heavy with the watering each day when it's hot and humid outside.

Exactly what I expected.
These are exactly what you would expect - they are functional and come with all the parts for you to easily put them together, but they are somewhat flimsy, especially if you extend them to the full length. I had images of them flying off the balcony railings as a result of the metal corners that hold them on the railings bending, so I picked up a few corner braces (I think that's what they're called) at Lowe's. Instead of using the black railing attachment I used the one I got at Lowe's which is a heavy, quality steel. In short, I basically replaced the part with a sturdier version. I also put a smaller steel corner brace on the inside right where the part over the railing turns down into the planter. And I used machine screws and bolts/nuts/whatever they're called because the ones that came with it seemed super flimsy. Once reinforced, they seem to be holding up fine, that said, I am not using my heavier terra cotta pots in them. So far, so good, although I did spend some extra money and time on them. They definitely look cute, but I only recommend these if you plan on reinforcing them or don't have a lot of wind where you live.
