ACTUAL SUNLIGHT...... in your pocket!
It's as bright as they say..... and on those highest settings, it does in fact heat up IMMEDIATELY on those higher settings!! LOL (but I suppose that's why there is a handle). Also, comes with it's own fast charger and the internal batteries are rechargeable. I recommend this product for when you find yourself in a horror movie in the middle of the woods or in the Appalachian mountains after dark, and you hear a noise, but you're not sure what it is..... Shine this bad boy and it'll be as if you have DAYLIGHT in whichever direction you point it!! Get it while it's on sale though. The picture I've included is my "pitch-black in Winter" apartment, with this light on, its 2nd highest setting (or maybe highest, the last 2 probably need to be outside to for appreciate)

very bright
Very bright. Much easier to handle than the MS-32 which is a beast.

Powerful and Small. IMALENT MS12 MINI-C
The new Imalent MS12 Mini C is the upgrade to the MS12 MINI that I’ve been using as my preferred camping flashlight for a number of years. The Mini C charges quickly using USB-C and also doubles as a powerful battery bank for charging my USB devices. This is a powerful flashlight with 65,000 lumens that can fit in my jacket pocket. With a beam distance of over a kilometer and multiple power levels, it’s a very versatile flashlight. It’s the brightest soda-can sized flashlight I own and powerful enough to light up a freight train at night for my videos (attached). I’ve always had great luck with the many IMALENT flashlights that I own, which include the powerful MS18, SR32 and IMALENT MS32 (world‘s most powerful production flashlight). The Detachable Handle provides a cool grip no matter how hot the flashlight gets and the internal fans kick in at the highest power levels for extra cooling. I use the handle to hang the flashlight from the dome of my tent. I like the lowest 50 lumen power setting that allows me to read at night without waking others. It’s also ideal for checking camera settings during nighttime photography without destroying my night vision. I think you’ll be happy with this flashlight!

Gets hot super quick but made my jaw drop after activating turbo
I was impressed how bright this flash light is but it does become into a portable hand warmer on turbo, the fans do help it cool down quick and does a good job at being bright, I use this when I make some food deliveries during the night and this is a good flash light, Would recommend but just know it gets super hot even I had to use my clothes as a glove to turn it off. It can last for a while but the fact it can last on moonlight for 96 hours I think or more. It is pricy but worth every penny.

Imalent honored the warranty with a new replacement. The heat issue still remains a huge concern!
!!UPDATE!! This company stood behind the warranty and sent me a replacement yesterday. They have seem to fix the issue with the power button being on the opposite side of the handle location so you can power button easily now. Hopefully Imalent upgraded the quality of glass lens in this light to prevent the issue with the glass lens cracking during the light cooling down that I experienced with the first model of this light that I had bought a year ago. I would rate this light 5 stars because the performance is there. It’s bright bright bright and great battery life also. But i have to keep it at a 3 STAR Rating because a flashlight that costs a weeks paycheck should not have the issues that i experienced with the first ms-12 mini c IMALENT flashlight i ordered. The engineering team should have filled tested these lights and made sure that they was built to the high quality to endure the extreme heat these lights produce and would be able to last out in the field where these lights will be used without having issues such as the glass lens cracking while the light was turned off cooling down just sitting by itself. I did not even bump see glass lens to cause it to crack. The cheap glass they used in these lights hopefully the model has been improved upon and a better glass lens is in place so it doesn’t happen again. I was very very displeased and mad about the whole situation of the light I ordered a year ago busting within a week or two of receiving it. LEDs are cheap batteries are cheap aluminum is cheap and these lights should be able to take a beating without any issues for the company to expect consumers to pay the very steep price tag Imalent is asking for the products. If this light experiences the same failures that the first one I had got a year ago did I will be back to my review for a third time to properly inform potential buyers of Imalent products. I’m grateful the company their honor their warranty. I did not even know they was sending me one to replace the one that had literally self-destructed itself. If you’re an outdoor person looking for a quality made light that can take a beating even though they did honor their warranty I would advise against investing your money into a keep playing made and overly priced brand of flashlights. These extend output lights seem better suited for a flashlight collector that doesn’t intend on using these lights out in the field. I have several smaller IMALENT flashlight that I absolutely love and have been rock solid. My faite is the LD70 mini EDC light. Even though on turbo mode it does get very hot in fact too hot to carry if you use it on that mode for a long period of time but that lot has been nothing but dependable and built like a tank it’s been ran over multiple times accidentally and there’s just a few scratches on it. Look elsewhere at other brands if you’re thinking about investing in a high output flashlight that can handle actually being used out in the field. I would not spend my hard earned money on this particular model flashlight again. It still needs a better cooling system in place. From what I have read about the other models of 100,000 or more imalent flashlight they have a proper cooling system that can actually dissipate the heat. This model does not dissipate heat in fact after running your on turbo mode for a long duration be prepared to be burned just simply pressing the power button to shut the light off. This is unacceptable for something this expensive. This company needs to put a lot more money into the manufacturing and engineering of this product for it to command a $400 price. I feel like this light was quickly engineered to be made as cheap as possible while producing a mini lumens as possible with disregard to the extremely high probability that the user will be burned by the housing of this flashlight. IMALENT SHOULD DISCONTINUE THIS MODEL FOR THAT VERY REASON ALONE. NO ONE WANTS TO BE BURNED BY A FLASHLIGHT THAT GETS SO HOT YOU CAN’T EVEN PRESS THE POWER BUTTON TO TURN IT OFF WITHOUT EXPERIENCING SKIN BURN! MINE HAS BURNED ME SEVERAL TIMES YOU CAN’T USE THIS LIGHT WITHOUT THE HANDLE BEING ATTACHED THAT HANDLE IS THE ONLY PLACE THIS LIGHT CAN REMAIN COOL ENOUGH TO SAFELY HANDLE. These concerns should’ve been addressed and the engineering can easily address these issues to make the safe for the consumer to use your products. All of this safety concerns of burns inevitable was simply disregarded to cut cost and allow for maximum profit. I would not recommend this light to anyone even now because of the extremely hot housing that will burn your skin. this model being released and the manufacturer selling these models at $400 each with all of these valid issues that I have touched on simply being disregarded by the manufacturer. Go back redevelop this model with a copper heat sink that can actually dissipate the extreme heat that is inevitable when you’re producing 65,000 lumens. This system that is currently being used by this model of light is a joke. It just makes a lot of noise with several fans blowing air around but not extracting any heat to prevent it from simply being absorbed by the housing and battery pack that is causing users skin burns ••••My original review from a year ago••• Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience Using this IMALENT MS12 Mini C. It doesn’t have no type of cooling capacity. The cooling fans are practically just for looks. Right behind the cooling fans It is blocked off. There is a mirror, maybe 1/8 of an inch gap between the cooling fan and a flat aluminum housing that sits behind it. It does not have no type of sink or no means of dissipating heat. I have been burned twice by the power button trying to turn the light off. One evening after using my light for two or three minutes on turbo mode I was inside at room temperature and I heard a mistakable sound of glass breaking. My heart son when I looked and realized that the glass lens on my $400 flashlight had cracked from the Intense heat! So far IMALENT Has been cooperating with a warranty claim, but what use do I have for a flashlight that one I can’t turn off without getting burned or using gloves and number two a $400 flashlight should not have these issues to begin with. I’ve only used my flashlight might be five or six times over a five week period. Yes, this light is Extremely bright, but if you lose the handle, you will not be able to carry this flashlight while it is in its brighter settings because of the immense heat. The heat travels All the way through the entirety of the battery compartment as well. This seems like it will either one cause the batteries to fail, prematurely, or, something worse, like an explosion from the batteries being exposed To high Temperatures. This light should withstand even water hitting the lens while it is being used in the turbo mode. But after the lens cracking while it is sitting at room temperature cooling down I really doubt the Glass lens would withstand rain hitting it while it is hot. And when I say, I have been burned by pressing the power button I burned a blister on my finger from the power button. I requested IMALENT Not to replace my light with the same model because the issues I have brought up in this end review and I have relayed to the company as well. If you these lights then You know that the MS18 model has a proper cooling system. Unlike the MS12, which just makes a lot of noise and do not move any air because there Is no way for the fans to pull air/heat from the light. And one more major thing, the power button on the Light is sticking as well, which really makes it hard to operate safely. I’m sure the power button is failing From being exposed to temperatures that exceeds the components ratings. All of these issues I have raised In my review from my bad experience with this model could be avoided if Imalent Would actually engineer This model of flashlight properly To demand such a very high price tag. I do not see why this light is so expensive. It practically has no cooling system. Which is needed when you are producing this much lumens. . I don’t even know why they put fans on these lights. They are only A fade given the user the impression that they are actually drawing heat away from the light. because of the stupid amount of heat That builds up in the flashlight.
