How does the waterproofer look on a tan top? Will it darken it, and will it cover up or magnify appearance of minor scratches?

I used it on a camel color canvas top and it works and looks fantastic! Didnt change the color at all and any existing stains werent magnified .

The trick is to dab and poke the solution into fine details - it’s a water consistency, so tends to easily roll off - you MUST have patience and diligence when applying. Use soft bristle high-quality brush, paint on in real small zones. DO NOT let it get on glass or paint, and dry - IT WON’T COME OFF. To answer your question, yes, it’s a most effective product. Highly recommend masking off glass and paint first, real good, before you start applying. My next time, I think I’ll try a very small foam type paint roller, instead of a brush, and go REAL slow. Can Protex World waterproofer be used on my tan Saab convertible top?

I don't see why not. But I did not like this product for many reasons. First, the bottle came not full, the product is very difficult to apply and if you want to have an even coat better be careful because youay need more bottles, specially if bottle came almost half full to start with. After a few days the product starts running off on my windows. To be fair, it seemed to seal the roof but I will try somw other product next time. My car is a BMW 650i convertible, black top...
